I have Windows 10 pro v. 1903. I feel quite limited (moreso than with Win 7) in what I can do to customize my desktop, but my system runs well now. I don't want to bog it down. I am wondering how big a resource hog Windowblinds 10.84 is? And I am also wondering if Windowblinds will interfere with games such as SkyRim or Kingdom Come?
I just DL'd Stardock Central and updatred everything that could be updatred and now I have a new program called tweakshell, but no help files for it. It opens up with a whole lot of programs all checked...mostly applications that do not, and have not been starting (as far as I know) when Windows starts. Two quick questions...is there a way to colour just one elelment of a skin...with WB5? I have a skin I really like (Octane)as far as borders and such is concerned but the menu bars and window backgrounds are just too dark. The description of theme manager says that you can create your own themes...I have had TM loaded (don't right at the moment) and I'm not sure how that's done. Let's say I want to combine a certain WB skin with a particular wallpaper and a randonm set of icons and cursors. I downloaded the free version of CursorXP to try and I found that it doesn't work quite right with Halflife 2. When I go to load a previously saved game...or try to select any option from the game menu...the cursor flashes and blinks and becomes so erratic in where it is pointing to that I can't stand it. I'm using copper_deck_2_WB5. I like it! The credits say it was created by pixtudio. That's Treetog and Alexandre...is that correct? Anyway, There's a small problem with it. yraq, If the "newest" drivers are 81.98 (which is what I have), how can there be higher driver versions? Are they betas? And do they really fix the problem? I read the Corel groups religiously and I'm not sure that going from version 9 to 10 or 11 or even CorelDraw 12 would be a step up. I will probably give WB a trial starting this weekend but it is reassuring to know that the problem lies with videocard drivers and is being addressed.

I know what Windowblinds main thing is...skinning Windows. But can Windowblinds change the colour of titlebars, scroll bars, adjust fonts, etc. on custom skins? And can Windowblinds skin other(perhaps legacy) apps? If not, do you have to purchase the whole Object Desktop to get either of these functions?
