quick tutorial

Can someone give me a quick tutorial on how to use windowblinds and how to use skins? I downloaded some skins from treedog and have my eye on others--like a suite from josephsart but I haven't even begun to fool with them yet.

just a quick breakdown of how to get started so I'm not fumbling around in the dark

I knew that...mental hiccup...BTW I like alot of your skins too.

Did Litestep years ago--there were a lot of what might be called "heavy metal" skins back then. No offence to anyone but I'm not much for flowers and pastels and gumdrops. Navigatsio's MX5 is also one of my favorites.
