Is it possible to find and use cursor sets without having to purchase CursorXP?

Is it possible to find and/or use icon sets without having to purchase IconPackager?

You can't use CursorXP themes without the software because they use alpha blending and Winodws doesn't handle alpha in the cursor, there's a trial version of CursorXP

Windows by default can't change most of your icons so the unique way is using a third party software to change it like IconPackager, you can extract the icons just renaming them to .zip
IconPackager also offers a trial but it is limited to 30 days
