resource usage

I have Windows 10 pro v. 1903. I feel quite limited (moreso than with Win 7) in what I can do to customize my desktop, but my system runs well now. I don't want to bog it down.

I am wondering how big a resource hog Windowblinds 10.84 is?

And I am also wondering if Windowblinds will interfere with games such as SkyRim or Kingdom Come?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. As a user I have no issue on running Windowblinds, and I don't think its a resource hog. I don't play SkyRim or Kingdom Come, so I can't really comment on Windowblinds issue on it.

I would suggest to use the 30 Free Trial so see if you have any issue on it. Please use this link : https://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/download

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I am not having any issues...yet, and don't want to. That's why I asked about how heavy a load WindowBlinds imposed on a Win 10m system. Sorry if my question wasn't clear.

Anyone with knowledge or thoughts on this issue please step up. I would appreciate it.

0.1% CPU....0.9meg ram....

That's how Windowblinds is on my ASUS Laptop running Win 10 pro 64 ....i7-3610QM at 2.3Ghz running 8gig ram...;)

Otherwise known as...no drag at all...;)

^ Thank you...that was helpful.

'Nuther question, if I may...have you (or anyone else) had problems with Windows 10 or Windowblinds after installation? Perhaps some windows apps unexpectedly not working as they should or Windowblind skins not working, or working the way they should?

Or even W10 or other programs being glitched...or even interface issues...after WB is uninstalled?

I want to be aware of any potential problems before I try WB.

You will almost always have problems with Windows 10 ....sooner or later...with or without any other program installed whether it be Windowblinds or anything else doesn't matter.

There has always been a few programs that refuse to abide by the Microsoft GUI standard [which Windowblinds is designed to work with] and they will retain their own skin 'method'....but that's the same with all the OS vers, not just 10.

If you plan to uninstall Windowblinds just set it to the default Windows style first before uninstalling...;)
