Sorry don't know what went wrong there....

Two questions:

If I buy WindowBlinds can I get technical support?

And...when I set up Windowblinds, how should I set up my desktop before installing WB? Should I choose the WindowsXP theme or the classic theme. Or does it matter?

YOu have community support here on the forums and you have Stardock support at stardock.helpserve.com https://www.stardock.helpserve.com. Here is faster and we know a lot of "stuff". Stardock devs are around here too.

Set up your desktop any way you want, it'll be so much better after you apply WB.
