Okay. I know File Explorer has crashed a few time lately, so I decided to manually restart Explorer as a test. It seem Explorer restarting is at least one reason for what causes this to happen. Please test on your machine and let me know. I'll continue to monitor the issue on my end.
I am on Windows 11 Pro -22631.5771; and I'll test out the restarting Explorer next time it happens.
I'm not sure if this has been going on prior to Start11v2 - Beta 2.5.5.1, but the tab texture applied to the first tab in the first group, on the first page, on the Windows 10 style menu won't stay applied. After an indeterminate amount of time, from a few hours to a few days, the background texture will revert to no texture. None of the other tabs in this group or any other group exhibit this issue. I thought you owned Groupy2. In Reply #10 you state “Of course this is still an issue with the new 2.20 update.” Did you purchase Groupy2 using a different email address? Or do you have a subscription to Object Desktop?

It can sometimes be tricky installing version 2 over version 1. There's a lot that can go wrong in the Registry if things don't go as expected. It's important when attempting this method to restart your computer prior to the install, and then rebooting immediately following the install completion. Glad you got it working. After you back up your settings, transfer the file to your new computer. Following the installation of Start11v2 on the new computer, Restore your settings.
Not sure what style you're using, but Start11 should be listed in the All Apps section of the start menu in the Stardock folder. Also if you right-click on any style start11 menu there is an option to Configure Start11.
Use the slider to more shortcuts.
