Start 11 Start Buttons are offset to the right of the Taskbar

Using Win 10 Style and Taskbar on the Left

Hi. I recently discovered Start 11, having long used a now unsupported freeware to get the taskbar on the Left of the Screen.

I love getting a Windows 10 style WHOLE SCREEN Start Menu back!! With transparency!

I have found that ALL except one of the Start Buttons are offset in the Taskbar - which isn't "World Shattering" but isn't ideal.
The ONLY Start Button that doesn't suffer from this is the "Default", which I'm using. But I'd prefer to use the Start 11 Button - Since I'm using Start 11!

Just a few other minor issues:-

Start 11 seems to be sometimes rather slow in starting up. I quite often get the Main Windows 11 Taskbar loading up first, and only THEN get the Start 11 Taskbar "taking over".

The Start 11 Taskbar sometimes "Floats" with blank space to left and right (of my Taskbar on the Left Edge of the Screen.
The Icons don't change size!
While this is "cute", I'd prefer "functional" and to have the option to get rid of that blank space and thus have a NARROWER Task Bar.
Hey - I'm using an oldish 24 inch iiyama monitor and maximum screen space is prefered rather than "cute"...

But overall I love the program - which is why I've now bought in!

Regards Greg

P.S. I was going to include a screen clip of how the Start11 Icon looks when "offset" in this way - smaller than it needs to be, and definitely not very professional looking...
But I can't find how to upload pics on this forum.

Need your full Windows version (use winver.exe) and your full Start11 version.

Hi prelaird.
Yes, now I can upload images! Thanks.
My Windows version is:-
Windows 11 x64 Professional  V10.00  Build 22631  23H2
(my audio was one of those affected by 24H2 - so now I'm gonna hold till 25H2 is released, and WELL tested!)
Start11 version 2.53

I've managed to "fix" two of my issues, by:-
Not using "Rounded Corners" on the taskbar.
Allowing the Taskbar to be re-sized, and
Manually reducing the size to fit the Icon size.

It is a "fix". But the Start Icon is still smaller than the other Icons on the Taskbar, and is only "almost central". Not quite perfect.
(I note a setting to "Vertically Center Icons" - but that only works properly for a horizontal Taskbar!!!)

Start Button offset and smaller

Almost perfect, but Smaller

I found one other thing which I reckon could be improved.
The settings for transparency for the Taskbar, and the Start Menu are in different places, and try as hard as I can I can't get them to match!
The Taskbar WILL go fully transparent if desired (but that makes some things difficult, depending on the Walpaper!)
BUT the Start Menu just does NOT seem to go as transparent as the control setting!
The only way I can get a "match" seems to be to stay in the very "solid Colour" region.
It would be nice to be able to "Lock" the settings so that both are guaranteed to be the same.

And "one more" suggestion.
The text in the Clock works out pretty small. Virtually impossible to read. So It's nice to have the "pop-up" which uses text at a readable size!
However the delay is rather long. Since the Task Bar Clock "as is" is unreadable, it would be nice to be alble to shorten this delay - to almost instant!
