That's not Quick Launch. We want Quick Launch.
I feel your pain! I use a toolbar to display the Recycle Bin on the taskbar. I like to keep my desktop clean to display art, so I use the Start menu for all my shortcuts and don't have anything pinned to the taskbar.
These 'Toolbars' were a target to folders with a group of Apps for quick access (click to bring up the list, click to open an app).
In either the Windows 10 or Windows 11 Styles menus, you can add pages and groups. If you add a page to replace you Quick Launch Toolbar, then you can add all your shortcuts and group them as you like to organize them. You can also use the scroll wheel on your mouse to move thru the pages of your start11 menu. Click the
One way to solve this issue is to drag the top of the start menu until the scroll bar disappears. If your screen doesn't allow you to drag it far enough up, you will have to make the icons smaller in the configuration settings. Also, if you don't have "Show more tiles on start" selected, you could try that and see if you can arrange your tiles so that the scroll bar disappears. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/1b28d5d8-69e4-4289-84f3-bc4163180166.jpg" alt="" widt
Windows 10 Build 19045.2311, Start11 ver. 1.33 This is not a big issue, it's really just a question. It appears that if the number of characters in the path to an image file is longer than 128 characters, Start11 will not load the image file to the start menu when using the "Pick custom tile image" context menu. I discovered this when attempting to load an image of a file nested pretty deep in folders. If I moved the file up one folder in the nest, it worked. I copied the path
According to Neowin.net in recent articles posted today, Microsoft is planning to enable seconds in the taskbar via a switch in the settings and a leak suggest "never combine taskbar buttons" could also be in the works. Although this news is great for Windows 11 users, unfortunately it adds to the never ending changes to Windows 11 which the Stardock, Start11 development team has to contend with. Windows 11 continues to be a moving target for the Stardock team.
This is fixed in 1.32. Thanks!
Click Add... Add custom location... and then browse to your Favorites folder and select it. After it's added, select whether it should display as a link or menu.
From the Stardock DeskScapes software page: System Requirements Windows 10 64-bit (Version 21H1 and earlier) I am running DeskScapes 11 on Windows 10 build 19045.2310 without issue. Hopefully it will get updated at some point for Windows 11. For Animated backgrounds, check the "Dreams" folder at

Someone please explain to me how having the Quick Launch Toolbar is any quicker or easier than just having those shortcuts on the start menu. Both the Quick Launch Toolbar and the Start Menu require two clicks to launch a shortcut.

I am running Windows 10 and the folder that appears in the native Windows 10 Start menu is the default for Windows 11. It is not the default for Windows 10. I do have the OS set to show thumbnails on files, but have show thumbnails on folders disabled using the following Registry key. <span style="font-family: Cali

After unloading Start11 using "Start10tweak" there is still a slight delay in closing Task Manager, however it is not as long of a delay as with Start11 enabled. I can see how this might get annoying if you are opening and closing the Task Manager multiple times during the day. Will simply minimizing the Task Manager screw up your benchmark testing process? Crazy! I went to test this today and it seems to be working as expected now!

Turn on "Show more tiles on start" to get four columns of medium icons or eight columns of small icons.
