Revelation is one of the best in 1 on 1, not the worst! In 1 v 1 it takes the enemy cap out of commission, and it has great bombing damage. When it reaches lvl 6 it can do some damage to enemy hw. For Advent Rapture is the worst 1v1, only cause right now carriers suck, vengeance is not worth it, and for vertigo u kinda want rank 3. For Vasari the carrier is the worst 1v1! For TEC 1v1 the worst would be Dunnov.

Sup Cykur. Mazuo, you should know carriers will be much more expensive. The change mentions "per squadron" cost. Leads me to believe the carrier will be more expensive. With a lets say per squadron cost of 500/100/50, a carrier could cost 1000/200/100, or 1500/300/150 as an example. This may actually lead to people not using them, if you have to save up that much money, you may be mroe likely to queue some cheaper frigates before u get enough money for carrier.
tec scouts can be devastating to your eco if you let them bomb your buildings.
That's an inaccurate blanket statement. TEC scouts are terrible at bombing buildings. Also losing a building or 2 won't do anything in the long run. You end up spending more money on the scouts than you cause in damage.

If teams are locked and he has an ally that lives, he will not die. You can kill all his ships and planets and he is still technically not dead, till his ally dies. Otherwise a player dies when all his colonies die. A team dies when all of the team colonies die. It may so happen that someone will die, and his ships left on autocast will recolonize a planet, but he will not be able to move his ships or build anything new if dead.

The antimatter regenerator adds a regen rate of few antimatter per second, I think something like 6, but you can upgrade it. Thou I think TEC have the best antimatter regen with their culture upgraded bonus, it's not as much but affects all ships. Also lvl 6 ability of Dunnov makes TEC spam abilities like crazy.

Tradeprots are good if you can't get more planets than your opponents, or if you got ton of asteroids about. In a short game on a small map they are not necessary. Also, a Temple of Communion is pretty good idea even on a small map! If you have a tiny empire one Temple is all you need to spread culture across all of it. The 10% allegiance is so worth it :)

Vasari have crazy economy right now! Do not go for tradeports as vasari! Waste of time and resources. If you are on a map where you can get tradeports before fighting someone, then you can get RA instead! Vasari early econ is all resources! Scout like crazy and get every neutral resource you can, sell excess resources! It's easy to calculate that 1 metal or crystal a second can yield you about 2.5 credits a second when sold! So on a fast income level a neutral gives u .66 a second, thats

AIs are not difficult because they have flaws. If your fleet is bigger than both of their fleets individually, they will both retreat even thou their combined fleet is bigger than yours. Facing 2 competant players however is nearly impossible.

Yes Xfire does this to a lot of games. And their exemption software seems to run even after you turn the damn thing off! I got the Xfire report screen after few crashes where I had deliberately turned Xfire off. Needless to say the "what I was doing" box got filled with some selective profanity!

Going for more than 1 cap will usually be a disaster. The Advent carriers are not bad for countering long range frigates with fighters if you know how to use em. As a noob I wouldn't try thou. Since 1.04, the cost of advent carriers has gone up! They now cost almost as much as a HC, so keep that in mind. Getting HC might be more worth while.

The game isnt designed to just slaughter the opposing fleet in one battle easily. You have to grind them down. Stuff like PJI and subverters and other disablers make it a lot easier thou.

If your enemy is far enough I would go for HC instead. Then follow it up with support cruisers once I turn his first wave or destroy it. Once he realizes how out teched he is he will try to catch up but it will be too late. Enforcer + Subverter = Sick, Kodiak + Hoshiko also sick!

Hoshiko is sick, one of the best support ships! The repair ability works in conjunction with high armor! But the best part are demolition bots! Disable weapons for a minute means the enemy ship cant fire! Bring enough hoshikos to disable all enemy heavy cruisers lol. You will have to turn off autocast for the repair and repair manually, also turn off auto attack! That's the only way to get the Autocast from Demolition bots to work properly. As far as Cielo, if you are using it f
they don't always seem to autocast even when on autocast. I've watched plenty of ships die right next to fully ready repair bays. Maybe they fixed it since I stopped playing, maybe not. (Just checking for news on 1.1)
Ummmm, maybe your repair bays ran out of antimatter dude or got disabled.

Sure I dont disagree that carriers could be faster. However they are not specifically anti LR Frigates. And they do not need to chase the LR Frigates as fighters are the ones doing the killing. They also have Heavy armor which makes them very good at eating the type of damage Long range frigates do. Hell give me fast carriers and I will use them exclusively, just not how you envision.
