Reply to Reinstalling Object Desktop in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

I made backups of my OD apps, and when I reloaded Windows in 2 PCs (one Win 7 64 bit, one Win 7 32 bit), the archives do not restore. In Impulse, they look like they are restoring, but they don't actually install properly. Windowsblinds errored out when I tried to restore from archive. The one issue I noted previously is still there though [e digicons]X([/e] - for users of the "Sticky Notes" built into Windows 7, thee desktop darkens behind it (it should be treated as if it is on the desktop). I would also love to see a feature where you can add an exemption to add any program so it cannot steal focus.

An add-on to my last comment - would love to see a feature where you can check a box to Never have the desktop itself dim and also perhaps a separate slide that controls the dimming for the desktop. (I am encountering other issues when working with the desktop and folders, dragging/droppping - I believe this was mentioned before)

I do have one issue with Inactive Windows on the RC of Windows FX 4 - Sticky Notes running and active causes the desktop to lose focus- even though technicially, it "sits" on the desktop, and is a desktop app. I guess . Can this be fixed? This appears to be the only gadget that has this issue. Working great otherwise :)

I have not seen anyone ask this yet so maybe I am the only one experiencing? I have set the new ObjectDock (Free) to open when Windows Starts. When it loads, it also loads and displays the settings dialog. How do I diable to settings dialog from coming up everytime automaticially? NOTE - ISSUE FIXED - It had to do with some leftover startup shortcuts from my Object 1.9 install. Once extra old shortcut removed, the settings dialog did not appear anymore.

Soundpackager Feature Request - MP3 Import in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

Hi - I believe one of the hold backs for Soundpackager receiving more attention is the fact tha it only imports WAV files - is there any way to enable it to inport (and then convert) MP3 files? Also, adding WMA and similar file types would be excellent. But at the very least, MP3. Otherwise, great program. Thanks.

Hi Neil, I am one of the folks having trouble with running Dreams and Fences together on WIN 7 64 bit (Fences "dissappear" and all icons become visible when any dream runs - have worked with tech support for some time with no result that has lasted). I LOVE both programs, and would like to see them run together again soon. I am suspicious that it is the new Feature of Deskscapes 3 that allows users to make icons transparent that is causing Fences

Reply to problem with deskscapes 3 and fences in DeskScapes Stardock Forums

I also have same issue. I am running Fences Pro v1.0 (released on 12/19). My OS is WIN 7 64 bit RTM When running Deskscapes (3.0 version released 12/18) together with Fences Pro the Fences "dissapear" and all of the icons that are hidden and contained in a fence all become visible . This is immediately fixed by disabling Deskscapes. Occurs with multiple dreams. I hope this can be fixed. Thank y
