OS install on original drive in this machine was 2015....so OS has 'existed' active for 3000 odd days....;) Edit...I should add I got a spike about a year and a half ago ...brain fade...I had missed protecting my audio system via the UPS .....pickled 1 channel of the audio...the CPU and the GPU [jury is out on the MoBo...but I'd replaced that as well]. That led to a downtime of a few weeks and a hit in the hip pocket the wrong side of $1000 [but now have a later gen GPU] ...an

The computer has not been turned off for 139 days .....not by me nor by meddling frm MS...;)
My system currently has an 'uptime' of 139 days 7 hours and 38 minutes ....so is arguably pretty stable. It's Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit ...;) Things tend to get really, really stable....once Microsoft butts out ...;)
I haven't received communication as to how it was resolved, but I can download the game now.
I would expect Bitdefender has corrected its signature database to rightly 'clear' the false positive....;)
Many AV programs can be slow to determine specific signatures as safe. Often they will be working with the idea 'better safe than sorry' and auto-exclude signatures that are only similar but are actually different. That's the process referred to as 'false positive'. Bitdefender is better than some, in fact I used it for years...until the advent of Windows 7 for which it was too slow to become compatible so I moved to Kaspersky which had already adapted to '7'. I ra
Multi-linked sites do that now and then...it's those pesky cookies not catching up. If you systematically log out of all Stardock sites and back in...it 'should' resolve...;)

I'm old (53) and don't get the badge-things, but if you really are the CEO of Stardock, you should maybe listen more to your community manager (Rammastardock), because the ignorance of the customer perspective in your posts, is pissing me off even more.
Now for our team, the AI stuff is just the next logical step. Obviously, I have some ambivalence on the issue since now, “some guy” can just crank out aliens putting all our years of hard-earned artistic experience at risk. But it is what it is. It's certainly no fun getting electrocuted. I once had an 'issue' with a cordless drill's charger ....the muscle spasm had my arm aching for a week...;) Hopefully you're on the mend...;)

One of Doc's roles with Stardock/Wincustomise.com is to keep an eye out for relevant [to the skinning world] subject matter, and post articles about what's found, with links to 'whatever' for others to delve into deeper if they wish. It's a system that's working well....;) With regards to anything and everything 'dangerous' to the general user, such as links to dodgy sites [warez] or scripts/registry hacks ...there's no harm in their discussion ...only in their facilitation of

Nah...February 2000 ...WB 11ZF looks like the oldest...unless there's something hiding in an old HD somewhere...;)

PapaBravo ....I removed your link to 'locate32' from your dropbox as it's corrupted. I also had to jump through hoops to get back to this forum. If I were a gambling man I'd bet your issue comes from that program itself...;)
I just need to add... Keeping communications of misunderstandings such as this restricted to private avenues of discussion is imperative as public perception is always going to be wrong. It's a fact of life. I have recorded and removed subsequent comments simply because they reference private communications which by definition no longer means they are private. Edit... I cannot stress enough. Anyone posting
Guys, I don't think this public conversation is helping anyone at all. Misunderstandings occur even with the best of intentions. What's advisable going forward is that similar communications remain via Private Messages directly between affected parties. If and/or when there is a resolution worthy of public record...then's the time to be public to benefit others. Pringl2 ...I'm not physically in Stardock's Office but I've been aro
