Stardock are proving to be utter scum here. ITs the same bloody product that we purchase A LIFETIME LICENCE for. But they have broken that contract, and maybe it's time that was looked into because where I come from consumer protection is very strictly enforced.
No they aren't, no they haven't and look as hard as you like. I, too have a thorough understanding of 'your' Consumer Law as Mine's probably identical [NZ

Sounds like you need to disable peek. Peek is intended to show the fenced icons above windows that are open and would otherwise obscure them. To simply interact with Fences in the original windows z-order the Fences can be set as transparent with mouse over to view....;)
No, not for software issues. They send you to the forums.
As the first option. When online [forum] assistance isn't successful/sufficient the Forum Support crew can elevate the issue directly to the people writing the code. As many have said people are simply getting upset about a naming system. You can blame Microsoft for being one name level behind if you must...;)

More than likely they will NOT "ignore your email". The most protective and litigious entities on this planet are the US sports teams. [although the IOC is also up there]. Their team trademark will only be used with their consent, no matter what the reason or whether commercial or not. In the past there has been some sport-related works On Wincustomize...but all were with explicit consent....;)
Let's discuss openly and respectfully...
I highly doubt you are capable. I left the determination of what to do with the antagonistic and insulting comments to Sean as it's his thread. My response would have been to delete the comment AND its creator. You as a customer have the right to seek assistance from Stardock's Support team. You have not purchased the right to insult them. P

tusket1 ....sorry...I was on my phone...and it's difficult to edit/correct posts on one. I removed your personal info from view to protect your privacy, however the Stardock crew can still see the details. Please follow basj' s directions...;)
I would stick to windows 7 but man. All my apps dropped windows 7 support. Cant even install them. So I had to move on to win 8 for a while. Same thing happened. Now in the when will 10 support for my apps be dropped. lol
Cleverly...the 'support' for those apps was to keep up with often unwanted MS Updates which introduced issues they then had to cater for. Joke's on them when MS has totally ceased interfe
I honestly downgraded back to windows 10 to avoid any more of that crap they are trying to force on its users. The day I cant use windows 10 no more is the day I finally leave windows and move to linux.
There are ways to safely continue using Windows 7. I'll let you know when that changes...;)

I get 'free new versions of a lot of software....no issues at all with whether its Program 1....or Program 2 ...or even Program 2 v3. I do however pay an annual subscription fee for t
Do you know how much is $10 in Brazil?
Yes, as with all countries/communities there is always going to be more valid/necessary options for where you spend your money. It is all about priorities. When part of that expenditure is towards "necessary" online communication and your chosen OS has become somewhat annoying with its interface you opt for some of Stardock's software to make things a little more

No, not just you....Kaspersky had been warning me about 5 times a day for months [site certificate] for all of Stardock's sites...and I typically have 4 open [the Admin ones appear OK]. I finally got around to excluding them from Kaspersky's watch as I know they are fine...;)

If Win 12 is soon to come out that will mean I will have totally missed an OS [11] and that'll be the first of all of them that I simply didn't bother with since the days of Dos...;)

I remember back in 1973 in a hotel room in Paris playing Poker with a bunch of fellow Architecture students all on the same OS trip...drinking duty free Johnny Walker and worrying about the cost of the coke.....and I argued that someone owed me 5 Centimes that he hadn't paid in one hand..... ....then I woke up that 1 Centime was 1/10th of a Cent back than ...so I was worrying about a half a cent. Stardock's 'Start" series of programs are not expensive and never have been.
