Let's discuss openly and respectfully...
I highly doubt you are capable. I left the determination of what to do with the antagonistic and insulting comments to Sean as it's his thread. My response would have been to delete the comment AND its creator. You as a customer have the right to seek assistance from Stardock's Support team. You have not purchased the right to insult them. P

tusket1 ....sorry...I was on my phone...and it's difficult to edit/correct posts on one. I removed your personal info from view to protect your privacy, however the Stardock crew can still see the details. Please follow basj' s directions...;)
Vad....I've reset the dates...let me know if there are others, etc...;)
Glad you're enjoying things here. We do our best to make sure everyone has a positive interaction. I'm sure the guys with the spanners will take notice of your feedback. ...;)
I remember back in 1973 in a hotel room in Paris playing Poker with a bunch of fellow Architecture students all on the same OS trip...drinking duty free Johnny Walker and worrying about the cost of the coke.....and I argued that someone owed me 5 Centimes that he hadn't paid in one hand..... ....then I woke up that 1 Centime was 1/10th of a Cent back than ...so I was worrying about a half a cent. Stardock's 'Start" series of programs are not expensive and never have been.
Happy anniversary, guys.....in 8 more years it'll be 30 years for me too....;)
This is anyone's express, and unlimited permission to edit, post, re-post anything I upload.
Nikita...that's very generous of you. It would be ideal if people taking you up on that could include a reminder to all that consent was unilaterally given. The Mods will hopefully remember and approve them without issue...;)
Needless to say, we do NOT provide any assistance to cracked software, or people attempting to use it. If [or when] it causes system failure you will clearly understand why. On the other hand, Stardock will always be here to assist you with Legitimate Purchased software....;)
I probably need to add...this is for drives that read as unformatted...as if there's no data on them....when the MBR is lost, etc. If a drive has mechanically failed...ie platter doesn't spin and/or drive heads do not move then the recovery cost will be measured in $1000s and doesn't always work anyway. Surgical reconstruction of a drive's mechanics is a whole different kettle of fish...;)
Crazy price, but if Jafo says it works then it works... I'm guessing you ran the recovery of her drive from a flash drive or disc? if it was a flash used how large was the media?
Anthony...I pulled the drive out of the machine as the box was dead...and attached it by USB and external power supply...so the process was slow...but data was recovered to an existing internal drive on my machine....then I went through i
I have been running Start11 since I recoiled in horror at the start menu when I did my first Windows 11 update.
You're not alone there, mate...;)
I'm sure you weren't the first to do that... Good to hear it's all sorted now...;)
Does anyone have any ideas other than reinstall WIndowes10?
Not so silly...;) If and when Microsoft stops messing with the plumbing in 11 then just maybe Start 11 won't be chasing their tails. An actual "Final" OS is needed first...;)
I think you have just confirmed that you were incorrect for saying that my statement was incorrect. Regardless of how many monitors I use, if Start11 forced start button to align on the left due to multi-monitor and if I have to use startallback to achieve the intended result, that makes my statement valid. Imagine selling a software and saying it works, you just can't use multiple monitors. lol?
At best
The License is permanent. You keep the program forever. However updates to the program cease being available as and when the program evolves to a new full version release. Eg. if you purchase Windoblinds 10 you are eligible to all its point releases up to but not including Windowblinds 11 ...;)

It's not a privately owned "truth". And yes, Anyone using any form of Uxtheme.exe patcher is doing so thanks to it having been reverse-engineered, which is against the MS Eula. Perhaps it's t
During the period of a Subscription any installers remain available as they are updated. However, you MUST download any installers you wish to continue to use in future as the end of the subscription means the end of access to them.
Applications' licences are never 'annual', but by definition a 'Subscription Service' is annual. When you have downloaded an application along with its serial they are yours to use forever. If however you Update your operating system there can be no guarantee the application will still work as it may no longer be compatible.
Applications can be bought and downloaded individually, no different to any other form of online purchase. Updates are only available for the term of the version release. As and when a new full version update is released you will need to purchase again (often at a lower update price). If you intend to use several applications over generations of Windows version releases then Object Desktop's subscription system is far more economical.
Object Desktop is a Subscription service which has an annual renewal fee. For as long as you keep subscribing every included application can be downloaded... used..and updated. If or when you cease subscribing any applications you have downloaded can still be installed and used, but after you cease subscribing you no longer have access to updates. What you obtain during you subscription period remains yours to use forever.
BDBF ... For your own benefit I have edited your post. There was simply too much information that should always remain private and not be published. In reference to the Dali Lama I 'met' him once...in a lift lobby of a Hotel in Melbourne Australia. I walked past him while he was waiting for a lift...within inches...and had to do a double-take and turn around to check if it was really him. When I did he turned and smiled at me....and it sure was

OS install on original drive in this machine was 2015....so OS has 'existed' active for 3000 odd days....;) Edit...I should add I got a spike about a year and a half ago ...brain fade...I had missed protecting my audio system via the UPS .....pickled 1 channel of the audio...the CPU and the GPU [jury is out on the MoBo...but I'd replaced that as well]. That led to a downtime of a few weeks and a hit in the hip pocket the wrong side of $1000 [but now have a later gen GPU] ...an
