I would like to thank Stardock Software for working tirelessly on providing their users with an alternative to the Start Menu and Taskbar on Windows 10 and 11. I have used a lot of different software over the last 30+ years and never have I seen a company that listens to and works so closely with its users in customer support! I haven't seen anything like this thread on any of the Stardock forums since I became a member in 2018. It
Some users just don't care or give a damn.
In the online skinning world that very much was the case, mostly years ago now. It was a constant battle to keep on top of it all when many said "if it's online it's free to use" and "what ya gonna do...arrest us over some crappy graphics on the Net?". Times have changed....the Skinning world has grown up a bit...it's about 25 years old now, as are gaming mods
Specific 'rules of engagement' can be made by individual communities /games/etc whereby the act of 'joining' can involve agreeing to specific TOS that affects all involved within that 'group'. Issue arises when you are all happy with what you do....and then someone publishes something originally done by you to a location outside your 'loca
If a user wants to modify another users original design it should be mandatory with the workshop privilege to contact the original ships designer and get their "EXPLICIT" consent before uploading their design to workshop and credit to the original designer MUST be given and shown in the description. NO EXCEPTIONS.
That's the important bit. Skinning [OS] has always abided by that, as has the Flight Sim world .

This isn't my end of the Stardock universe....so I'm next to useless, but I think I could put my vote behind MrStarTrek as it's not just about being eager...it's fundamentally about knowing your 'end of the Stardock universe', preferably both long and well...;) One of the things people have to get their heads around as a Moderator is how not to go public with 'things' ...;)
Yeah I agree with this, paying 80% full price for a peek feature? No thanks, that's actually pretty insulting both to customers and your own product. Are you saying all other features were only worth 20%?
MS will give up on 7 unless there is a serious issue, that is the way of things. How will 0Patch fair against compatibility with vendors not updating Drivers etc.. almost all OSs stop being supported after a while, does 0patch fix that sort of thing too, really curious. Bitdefender can be a bit slow keeping up to date. It's why I switched to Kaspersky back when Win 7 came out. Programs that work 'with' Windows' Explorer shell can often be confused by AV proggies as "suspicious activity" and be blocked. Work around for you [until Bitdefender catches up] would be a temp disable of the AV until Start 11 is installed...;)

It might be something that can't be done. Dopus {I exclusively use it too] is more extensive/powerful than fileman.exe [I think the MS one is] so likely will be a tad recalcitrant. I've never found a need for using multiple instances of it so haven't seen issues myself...;)
