re install the tweakui - then go through the setting and options - i haven't used it in a while, but there is an option in there to hide the recycle bin. you want to make sure it's not hiding it before you uninstall it.

1) is your mouse left handed? normally it is 'right click' for the menu on the desktop. 2) do you have tweakui or something similar installed? (which allows you to 'hide' your recycle bin)

possible problems: if you had ver4 or a shareware - did you uninstall and reboot prior to installing 5 and rebooting Some AVs will keep 5 from fully installing/activating correctly, did you have any AV and was it disabled?

I either use 'open with' with Firefox or save the skin. If I save it, if it's still showing in FF's download window I click 'open' or if I already cleared the downloads, I go the download folder and double click the .wba. I think I've only had one or two show up as unknown back when I first installed 5.

kinda looks like a icon spacing change. right click desktop - properties - appearance - advanced - open the items drop down list and compare the icon vertical and horizontal spacing between your examples 1 & 2

if they are coming in as .zip (for desktop x items) look inside first and see what's there - it actually be a zip file containg the items you need. If inside are items in dx format (.dxpack for example) unzip the file and double click the .dx???? items, they should self install

the one's that still won't work....check the comments to see if the issue has been addressed a link to a couple that still don't work would be helpful...it's easier to figure out the problem when you know which one to try

the one's that don't work...change back to .zip and look inside...sometimes there is theme in the zip, sometimes there's more than one (color variations)

AT is still one of my favorites - everytime he posts something I let him know and try to hint for an update (don't want to be pushy ) I'd like to see SkinX updated too. Bear in mind before anyone else can redo it, they need permission.
