Application Fails to launch

Windowblinds load issue

I have puirchased and installed the windowblinds application (latest Version).

When attempting to launch this application within my Window XP pro SP2 OS it will ask that I reboot.  I choose to reboot, and after the reboot and try to launch the application again I recieve the same message (cold or warm boot).

So I tried clicking I will try later and the application does not load.

I get no event application errors within the OS log, and have exited any windows defender applications.

Any thing else I can try like what ocx or dll files to register?

possible problems:

if you had ver4 or a shareware - did you uninstall and reboot prior to installing 5 and rebooting

Some AVs will keep 5 from fully installing/activating correctly, did you have any AV and was it disabled?

How did you get the WB system information page if wbconfig requests a reboot?

OK found out the issue.
It appears that users SHOULD NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER 7.0 BETA!!!

It caused the OS to screw up the registry and other aspects of the OS.

After doing some hacks to the os I got it to somewhat work.

I am going to just use this application on my other PC, and until I fix the other one then buy another copy (NOTE: to stardock: It works very well with WinXP64 BIT pro).

I did not use the shareware version, and did a straight purchase of the application.

Oh and got the information about the system information by doing a regmon to the application when launched.
