when I try to change the style back to xp because thats supposedly my problem it gives me an access denied error wich i assume is because windows blinds is running.. not WB as far as I know - in order for WB to change the start it needs to be on xp start there was another post within the last 2-3 days, poster found out 'force

glad you got worked out. no need to feel stupid...I just keep asking questions until somebody smart comes along.
How would sliding it back from full help? I don't know, I have no technical knowledge. I tinker. If it's set one way and doesn't work for me I try it another way.
*bump which one's?
Glad to hear it's all still running smooth for y'all. Just wish I could into the WC forum from work...SD forum's too slow. about time to head for home
free or plus version?
I'm working on it...I check SDC every 15 minutes....
slide it back from full

Life is an illusion of suffering. hmmm. if it's an illusion of suffering, then the suffering is not real. Hugs being tangible are real. Hugs can help break down the illusion, thus alleviating some of the 'suffering'. Hugs can help.
send in $20, get a serial, put it in
okay..I'm at work with lots of restrictions...but here goes: open system in control panel - advanced tab - performance > settings - visual effects tab - scroll down and check "use drop shadows for icons on desktop" found it by: start - help & support - search = 'desktop icon text' - 1 topic came up - "change windows visual effects" - clicked that = didn't find it visual effects display but did find in visual effect system
not at home so I can't pull one up - but in the mean time: in your startup folder, right click in it and make a new shortcut and browse to the widget and add it all programs > startup - right click on that and choose open
okay, now I have confused myself... are we discussing the little blinking cursor or the mouse cursor? if it's the mouse cursor that's following you around - use the hot key for cursorxp disable/enable (it's in the configure somewhere, I'm at work and don't have access)
No buttons in 4.6 either, seems Neil is right (I believe he's THE programmer for WB)
try googling 'changing system fonts' if fixing the font back works...then......yay!
I don't have access to the apps or even WinCustomize while I'm at work. Corky O has an archiving tutorial at WinCustomize, unless somebody is kind enough to post it here, you'll have to search for it or wait until tonight. you would basically install SDC 1st, the restore the archives. However I'm unsure on the registration aspect and I seem to recall a sig.bin file that need to go with WB5 in order to activate it - but what I read last night [ https://forums.star
you're not just saying that cuz you don't like your stuff scorched are you, Neil? always listen to Neil before listen to the Troll.
Unless you had the snapshot cd sent to you... once you have the apps downloaded/installed via SDC - archive them via SDC (right click on one in SDC) and copy the archive to disk
once you get the crack completely out of your system...you might want to focus on your drivers since they appear to be nonsupportive of per pixel but even updating your video/drivers...unless you completely clean out your buddies' crack, you won't really be successful with the trial version, to test your video/driver updating
unglitched link to zapper: http://tinyurl.com/r8xw5 well yeah....I don't recommend scorching unless all else fails. I was going to suggest 1st ... uninstalling 5 ...reboot...install 4.6 - reboot - see if you have buttons...if so, uninstall 4.6 - reboot - install 5 - reboot and see if you still have buttons <img src="http://images.stardock.com/sd
