Partly quick access to exclude folders from indexing, and partly just to check occasionally the status of indexing. (Indexing has often been very slow or stopped after Windows Preview releases, despite all usual steps to correct.)

for many desktop items, have to select "more options" to see the Pin to 11" choice. And for some, have to "go to file location". But I'm still puzzled why sometimes when i click on the start button I seed the pinned item with the label "Pinned" and other times I see the pinned items but not the title "Pinned". Occassionaly don't even see the pinned items.

recent update fixed the issue.

but every other feature I've tried seems fine. Question: is there a way to automatically alphabetically sort pinned apps that I see when I hit the start button?

Didn't find the setup file to view it's properties. See screenshots In ProgramslFeatures Start11 is ver 1.1.1.1 Objects still shows Start11 status "Update" How do i attach or upload a screenshot file here?

Win 11 updated Start11 last night 1. Start11 why does the title "Pinned" display on one win 11 pc but not another? 2. some desktop shortcuts have "pin" avail when I click on them. Some don't. What should I try when they don't ?

How do i pin to the Start 11 screen? I found that choice a few times, now I can't.

If i disable all of the features of Display Fusion but leave Fences configured normally, no problems. Then enabled multi taskbar and icons for multi monitor switching, and no issues. That's mostly all I need Display Fusion to do.

I'm not convinced it's an interference btween Fences and DF because i ran both of them for over a year w both Win 10 and Win 11. if I uncheck "run Fences" would that be a good test? Len

Not sure why but my first choice, Display Fusion, recently messing up screen refresh on high res Nvidia card 4k. especially Adobe Acrobat. Don't think it's incompatibility with Fences, but not sure. DF had an indispensable function of setting independent Win 11 taskbars on each monitor. Saw some posts in Oct that MS was going to add that feature soon. Is it in the beta or slow release versions?

We're communicating better now.. The single monitor is so crowded that there's no room to rearrange or stretch out any of the fences. And remember, only one monitor on this machine now. Is there a way to " create a new Fences desktop page " and selectively move one fence at a time to the new one?

to be clear, these fences displayed fine when i had two monitors to spread them out on. so unless you're saying that something is corrupted because the fences should have scaled and rearranged automatically to fit on one monitor, then purging wont help? more i'd like to use the old fenced groups but make them more vertical and rollup sort of like going from a 3 bedroom ranch style home to a one bedroom apartment.

would doing that wipe out my existing fences? I was hoping to avoid doing that for 50 desktop shortcuts. Len

win 11. latest Fences. nothing was changed to the pc, but instead of driving three monitors, it's now only hooked up to one. same resolution and size as the other 3 monitors were. but since the fenced icons on the original multi monitor system had lots more room to spread out, now they'r crammed onto one monitor. Overlapping, half visible etc.

I've already uninstalled most of Objects except Fences and still have the issue. Fences and DisplayFusion got along fine for me for last two years or so. No problem on another multi monitor win 11 but if i want to see if they're conflicting, couldn't i just uncheck the Enable Fences box? Len
