1. Start11 why does the title "Pinned" display on one win 11 pc but not another?

 

2. some desktop shortcuts have "pin" avail when I click on them. Some don't.  What should I try when they don't ?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Can we have information please.

  1. Windows full version numbers for those system. You should use Windows own Winver.exe to get that information.
  2. Start11 version installed in those system.
  3. Screenshots of what you see and what you not seeing. As a comparison.
