Yes, when I click on the Universal Applications, it wouldn't show anything. And it's inconsistent. Sometimes I see the items, sometimes I don't. But I have found a way to see things every time: if UA doesn't show any content, move the mouse over 'Computer' right below 'Universal Applications,' (no clicking, just moving it) then mouse to the UA menu and everything appears. That always works. A couple of more notes: This is a Win10 machine, and I use virtual desktops. It's far m

I updated to v.0.9 and selected the 'Modern Style,' with no other changes from the default. The 'Universal Applications' does not expand. Also, if I go under Modern Style -> Settings -> All programs list, it appears 'Show Universal applications in their own folder' doesn't actually do anything. Whether I toggle it on or off, I have a 'Universal Applications' on the menu with nothing in it. Yes, I've rebooted a couple of times and tried switching to other menu styles and coming b

So I figured out what caused this, and it is the icons that Start10 uses for UWP apps based on which Start10 Style is selected. Choose Win7 Style and look at the UWP icons in the Start Menu (dark on light background), now change it to Win10 Style and look at the icons (light on dark background). I was able to resolve it by deleting the taskbar UWP icons, changing to Win10 Style, and re-pinning the apps, and then changing my Start10 back to Win7 Style. It matters what Style you've sele

In my case, sfc /scannow shows everything as fine, too. I'm on 18362.449, but as I mention, this has been an issue going back quite a ways, so thru a number of builds.

I think this is a long-standing bug. I've had this happen pretty regularly for a while, every couple of days or so. It's the same as with you -- if I stop the Multiplicity service on the primary, the mouse cursor immediately returns. Normally the only way to get things working fully again is to reboot both my primary and secondary.
Hello, Sorry to hear you are having trouble. But as you can see, if I look at the license, it shows it is activated. I have tried using my key and reactivating, but then it says my license is already in use. Yes, it is on use -- on this computer. You can only have one Primary activated per key. Secondaries do not need activation.
I'm

I keep getting pop-ups from Multiplicity saying it either is or will be deactivated in a few days. But as you can see, if I look at the license, it shows it is acti

I have started using a couple of Win10 UWP apps, which I have pinned to my taskbar. If Start10 is installed, the icons are very dark and essentially invisible. Attached are two pics showing a machine without Start10 and one with. You cannot see it on the second image, but those two icons on the right on the first image are on the right in the bottom image. If I click on them, I launch the apps; I simply cannot see them. I have been thru various settings in both Windows and in Start10,

Thanks, The one thing I will add is I do reboot after a crash. There's almost no hope of getting it running again in a stable manner otherwise, even after restarting both the service & the app.

Ever since upgrading to 1803, I'm getting pretty routine crashes like below. It has really increased since updating to build 17134.112 I do not see any log files generated by this. Any ideas or any information you would like? Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 6/24/2018 10:12:00 AM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (10

Ah, it was my VPN that is breaking the clipboard. I can paste from the connected one to the non-connected one, but not vice-versa. I was actually connected to two different VPNs, one on each PC, when I couldn't share at all.

I'm on a trial of Mulitplicity v.3.44. After I reboot both PCs, audio sharing works and the clipboard sharing works. But after a while (maybe an hour), the clipboard stops working, and a few hours later the audio sharing stops working. If I reboot both PCs, everything works again. And repeat. Any idea what's going on?

i'll just throw in my two cents here: i was unaware of the 'install on all of your PCs' licensing, I always assumed it was one license per machine, so I bought 3 Start8 licenses. That said, for a tech enthusiast (seems to me by far the most likely person buying your products), 5 PCs doesn't seem unreasonable. I have two PCs running Win 8.1.1, a Win7 PC, and two Macs (iMac & MBP) each running VMware Fusion with a Win 8.1.1 instance. There's 5 right there being used sole

as it turns out, running the installer overwrote the files but removed the "Stardock Start8" service! Reinstalling re-created it & all is well. Not sure why it bungled both boxes, as these don't have much non-MS software installed on them, pretty generic.

hi, I have 3 Start8 licenses, and I've installed 1.45 on two of those machines so far, & it broke both. it shows as activated, & all the settings are as they were, but I only have the native Win 8.1.1 Start button functionality. Is there something else I need to do? what happened? Both of these installs were 8.1.1 from scratch, no upgrades involved. thanks

I had the same thing happen when updating to 1.41. Everything disappeared. Fortunately installing 1.41 a second time followed by a second reboot fixed it. Fwiw, I had the same issue with Win 8.1.1 & 1.40.1, except in that instance, the update literally wiped out everything from \ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu.
