clipboard and audio stop working after a while

I'm on a trial of Mulitplicity v.3.44. After I reboot both PCs, audio sharing works and the clipboard sharing works. But after a while (maybe an hour), the clipboard stops working, and a few hours later the audio sharing stops working. If I reboot both PCs, everything works again. And repeat.

Any idea what's going on?

Ah, it was my VPN that is breaking the clipboard. I can paste from the connected one to the non-connected one, but not vice-versa. I was actually connected to two different VPNs, one on each PC, when I couldn't share at all.
