*gasp!* *Shock!* *HORROR!!!*
How can anyone say that they hate the 80's?
Sun and beach faded Levi and Wranglers please. I know I wish you could buy a pair of jeans that freaking fit these days. I mean, no my crotch does not start half way to my knees and yes I do happen to like cuffing the bottom of straight leg Lee's.

If ya hate the 80's you must despise the 90's and 00's. I do..
80s was awesome & fun. Wish I could go by early 80s.
Now it's Levi's, loafers and Old Navy T's.
die.
That's all I have to say it!
Oh and jarget, It was "Big Hair"

I'd buy an acid washed jean any day over a pair that fall halfaway down my butt and where the crotch hangs between my knees, and the legs already full of brown dirt in the front.
The 80's weren't perfect, but it sure beats everything that followed it. Actually, I had loads of fun in the 80's. But then again, it was my teenage years, so of course it was fun.
Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Genesis, Yes, Rush... Ah... memories.
Some day, they will look back at pics of themselves, roll their eyes, and laugh!

Remember Twisted Sister and all the other bands that had big hair and makeup.
Kiss from the 70's are the only band that can get away with that in my opinion.
yeah Dee was great!I had a friend George Dolt who came over to my place (party castle as it was known) and he went into the bathroom with a Paper bag and a boombox. Came out 15 minutes later with his sisters Cheer leader uniform on and a wig with make up lip singing "Do you really want to hurt me"
What he did not realize was this girl he liked had come in while he was in there and she had her older brother with her who was home from college

jeans? Why did we do away with the tight cuffed jeans? What happened
to mini-skirts and girls looking like girls? I did a photo generation
thing of pictures out of magazines over the past 50 years (I wish I could
find it). It's a very interesting progression (maybe regression....I'm not
sure....
)
Shhhhhhhhh........don't mention the Eighties! I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it.
The '80's in England were even worse than in the U.S.! I wore some TERRIBLE things in the name of fashion.
I remember going out with my two buddies, and we all wore the same thing: Bright red trousers, (the ones with baggy tops and tight cuffs) white shirts and red glittery ties and white shoes (OMG) and our (BIG) hair was sprayed silver. We cruised the city centre in my White Cadillac Eldorado and thought we looked incredible!!
/me curls up and dies of embarrassment...............
(I can't promise that I won't publish it, though!)
