used to have to stand up in movie theatres to see over all the "beehives". every girl you dated was taller than you no matter what your height was.

I remember some of the stuff my mom would find in dark secret places and have weilded to her hair in the 60's!

Like the time she came home with frosted hair (freaking silver white) after leaving home with a full head of natural Red hair. My mom always told my brother and I " You boys are going to turn my hair white and make me old", so I hear my brother exclaim "Oh Mum'ma we're sorry" with real serious conviction and I ran into the living room. She was at the door looking at my brother trying to figure out what he was saying that for and I looked at her hair and froze, she looked up at me eye to eye and mine shot wide open and I spun around and ran to my room and jumped under my bed pushing all the toys I had stuffed under it when cleaning it up out beside it.

Hell I think I was 4 or 5?

Took her 10 minutes, cookies, milk and a promise she would come home with her real hair the next day and no we did not make her grey and old.

So the next day she came home looking like the bride of Frankinstine did her hair just like her except it was Red with white stripes
