try reinstalling with it turned off
Bichur
did y'all have any antivirus running at the time of installation?
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 if the drivers aren't current, try updating if the drivers are current, try rolling back can't find all the various posts concerning drivers, but I recall in a lot of them the solution was a either a roll back or update depending on what you have.
shattered as in wrecked, need rest
oh.... thought of another.... If you used 4.6, you may not have fully uninstalled it prior to installing 5.
hmmm....docklets disabled....remove the docklets...put one back, restart - if it works, remove docklet, put another back, restart...etc. I only suggest it this way to try one at a time separately to see if you can weed one out. If they all work separately, then add one at a time and restart to see if maybe you have 2 that may be conflicting. Not real sure about it, I use the free version.
also, are the dtx themes old ones or new ones?
One of 2 things has worked for me: 1) download and reinstall SDC (Stardock Central Brower) on top of the one you have 2) go in to the Stardock Central folder, there is a 'restore' - double click it to restore to an earlier version, the allow it to update
please email support@stardock.com
also find out if it was a previously returned copy. from what i understand, the serial is for the computer to allow updates, not the game and is not transferable (sp?)
where did you purchase it from?
Secondly where did you buy it from?
We have another spy. Bichur you are welcome to participate As in keep your enemies closer? (spy reference) OR Come on down? Either way, thanks but no can do. Severe employer restrictions will not allow any attempt and attempted circumvention could cause me bodily harm.
Then I realised that I had just installed the trial version of DesktopX. I uninstalled DesktopX and hey presto problem solved, odd... does the trial DTX come with builder or is it just a trial client?
Having no problems with the free version
I think we can always enter and start chatting.... If it's actually busy - one can request a chat with another. then 2 will have a 'room'. then as others come in you can invite to join. i believe it will work that way.
Are you running shareware or paid? If it's shareware, the time may be up. revised comments: Only one of your dates/times seem to be the correct one. Why is that? Could be several reasons: You may have a shareware and paid mixed up - if it's just a mixed shareware, give it up the time is over. --If it's paid mixed with share ware
open WB configuration. on the left, click "system information" copy/paste that here.
I checked mine (free version also) - mouse over "swing" effect is working. Do the other mouse over work? Do the other 'effects' when clicked work? You might try saving your backgrounds and themes and clearing the cache.
Next time you get it open - go to WB configuration, click system information on the left and copy/paste that info here.
do you use a password to login? according to #23 here: Link it worked using a password
It's good practice to cite your sources. That was from wikipedia. Link If you ever need clarification on just about anything, Wikipedia is arguably the most comprehensive online reference out there. mea culpa meant to include it w
