I don't think StarSkin from RocketDivision is part of StarDock's Object Desktop - have you tried asking at their forums?
limited account or admin account?
Or maybe is due to the SP3 of windows ?
maybe, I don't know. I'm on rural dialup and the auto windows update won't be done until next year sometime.
yeah, kinda irritating... :( on the other hand, now that I looked in the \Stardock\Object Desktop I no longer have to run SDC to get SKS6 to run :CONGRAT:
did you unzip them 1st?
Does anyone know how I can keep aspect ratio of the original image for the icons I create from an imported image?
for now, create a square blank and overlay your image on it, then use the merged image to create the icon
odock free or plus? have you saved your theme and tried clearing the cache?
try... SDC to download the newest straight to archive (one of the right click options) unload, then uninstall the old - reboot use SDC to restore the 'new archive'- reboot
You have to say "please"........
HaHa, you Silly Ducker you.
Open Impulse/ Registrations. If it doesn't say Object Desktop Ultimate, re-input your serial number.
Finally just got the full downloaded today - web setup not nice on dialup - would never fully install. What were the requirements to be auto upgraded from ODNT to Ultimate?
there's only a couple showing in the ODock Gallery - one (the .net one) causes Odock to disappear when I add it and the other requires SYSSTATS to be installed
I've never heard of an Icon Explorer separate app. It should be an option in IconPackager

We sent out an ObjectBra announcement once.....
Objectbra, eh! Is that the new fangled one that guys don't find so fiddly undoing with one hand around the back???
No, but it can be easily tweaked
A-well-a everybody's heard about the bird B-b-b-bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word Papa-oom-oom-oom-oom-ooma-mow-mow
check your firewall
move them into the rainlendar skins folder
Look in the ui and ini files
set the icons back to default in setting and see if those are okay if so, then try changing them again have your tried the repair option? rebuild option?
Did you try just turning off your AV?
How do I re-install from archive?
Don't have Impulse... but in SDC it's 'file' > 'restore archive' = pick from the list when it comes up... should be the equivalent somewhere in Impulse
.ip is an icon package not a theme file .iptheme is an icon package theme either way you need IconPackager installed to apply
Even thought really all three auxillary programs above claim to work on vista
If you're trying regular bootskin on vista = it won't work If you're trying beta (if available - hadn't checked SDC for it since I use XP) Blurb:
Your own boot screen: BootSkin Vista Stardock BootSkin allows users of Windows XP to change their boot screens. So what about Windows Vista users? On Windows Vista, the default is not boot screen at all! Wit
So Bichur,Are you running XP Home SP2 w/ all automatic updates?
yes
you running it as admin?
is v3.99 beta or release? if beta, uncheck 'show pre release' is SDC - see if 3.20 shows up if no go... try email to support... I have found if I'm polite, they're helpful
files are out of date uninstall, reboot - install newer version, reboot
