try opening note pad maxed then open WB configuration - if it's readable, click the system info tab - then click the copy text button paste that info here
an email to support with a request should get it for you - they don't always have time to stop by the forums, but they check all their emails
Wbsrv.dll 2008/09/09 00:09:26 Screen.exe 2008/09/09 00:09:24 It was a trial I got from a disk
uh huh
its only when I post threads apparently... so I'll wait till I have a thread to post! then I'll update this one with the screenshot.
So why not a 'Breadcrumb Test Post'? :troll:
I don't think it will revert back to a 'modified classic' theme - one in which you changed colors and stuff around - the only way to have gotten that back is if you had saved it.
There appears to be no .uis file in this skin
usually indicates one of 2 things - the .wba is actually a .zip with other things inside in addition to the .wba (in which case change the extension from .wba to .zip or just unzip in place and see what's inside) - bad download - if you used a download manager, don't
My question is now rather moot. I downleaded the trial version of WB, only to find that it doesn't inherit my preferred colour scheme. So, as it uses a light background, it is unusable by me. SHame. I guess the search for a solution to my problem continues ...
WB uses the color scheme set in each individual skin when created using SkinStudio. So it may still be a possibility..
Will Bootskin fail without it.
deleted it will make your system boot normally ( I think - not sure on Vista... since bootkin wasn't made for vista and doesn't work on Vista... )
My version of Vista is Home Premium
Bootskin stopped being supported back in 2004 - Bootskin does not work on Vista you can always make a copy of vidstub for back up if you want - then delete the "\Windows\System32\Drivers\vidstub.sys" it's been a while, but I believe all it does is tell XP not to use the default boot but to use the one directed by bootskin
my activate expired
I'm thinking... either the trial ran out or he needs mortar
I believe there is now a policy in place which allows you to request your serial #s at support.stardock.com and they come with links to "zipped" versions which do not have the "MyColors" requirement. I know this is true for Gloss Burgundy because I've got it that way myself.
normal go to support page and enter email and wait? cool... I'll have to try that later when I get home
I will now go and sit in the corner with my funny pointed hat.
don't forget the funny striped pants..... ;)
I actually opened up Impulse yesterday - haven't run it since June this time I just let it be for a couple of hours and it actually finally quit downloading latest info and let me click on various tabs to see what's there - got to see community, friends list, chat I even got it to update the free odnt themes (didn't really need it but I wanted to see what would happen) that 18mb update took less time than downloading latest info I'm kinda hoping Phase 2 will be somewha
some overlap between Theme Manager, Windows Blinds and My Colors.
WindowBlinds skins windows (created with SkinStudio) MyColors basically only applies MyColors themes (MyColors is for the 'click and go crowd) - There are some free MyColors and more paid MyColors - MyColors generally comes with OEM versions of the apps needed to run the various 'parts' Theme Manager will apply 'parts' or themes - either those created as .suite or those you design and 'sav
