The issue I reported in https://forums.stardock.com/520936/page/1/#3894372 is still an issue with Groupy2.1 Beta. With the OS transparency option disabled, the background bar colors don't behave as expected. Windows 10 Pro 19045.3155; Groupy2.1 Beta
Is this version of CursorFX still available for download on Stardock? I only see CursorXP version 1.31. The cursor is flicking on my extended monitors. I tried everything from changing the cursor size to disabling shadows. I want to try an older version of CursorFX.
Are you running Windows 10? Are you running CursorFX 4.03? I discovered that the flickering was caused by the "Change pointer size and color" setting in the Windows 10 sett

Open the Registry and go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Groupy\Groupy.ini\Groupy ad a new string and name it AllowAutoUpdateCheck and then set the Value data to 0 Note: The devs are aware of this and it should be fixed in the next update.
this is so good but also I'd like to add the ability to hide the close button in each tab could you do it for me please?
Use the setting at the top “Advanced tab settings” to set this “Should tabs show individual close buttons?”

You can hide this close button by turning it off in the settings and then you can Right click any tab in a group and select "Close all windows in this group" to close the group.

If I had to guess, you are running Windows 10. I believe this is caused by interacting with the taskbar thumbnails. Stardock tech support have not been able to reproduce this issue. Here's how you can test this: Open Groupy2 and on the General tab, set "How should taskbar buttons for Grouped windows appear?" to "Show all." Now open two or three windows in one group and then hover over the the taskbar button for the group and click on one of the taskbar thumbnails and then try

Quite by accident, I have discovered that turning off "Transparency effects" in the Windows 10 Settings on the "Color" panel causes this issue. When it is turned on, the "Background bar" colors behave as expected.
pelarid, I was able to reproduce this on my Win10 machine as well. A bug report has been filed: ODNT-6650 Paul Scroggins Associate Technical Support Analyst
That's good to hear that you were able to reproduce this issue. Hopefully a solution will be found.

I uninstalled Groupy2; restarted; reinstalled Groupy2; restarted, and I can't seem to get the results you get. Also, why is the Window Title Bar black instead of white in the unfocused image? Focused Unfocused <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/05a141d1-07f6-4a4f-9750-67

I am confused about how the settings for "Focused background bar" and "Unfocused background bar" are supposed to work on Windows 10. The "Focused tab color" and "Unfocused tab color" work the same as the "Active tab color" and "Active tab non-focused color" in Groupy1.5, but the "Unfocused background bar" custom color setting in Groupy2 seems to control both the active window and inactive window background bar color, and the "Focused Background bar" setting only controls the color of

Update: I installed Groupy2 on a Windows 11 test machine and it exhibited the same behavior as discussed above. I uninstalled one app after another with a restart in between each and then tested Groupy2 for the issue. After uninstalling all third party apps and all non-OS installed Windows Apps, the issue continued. This machine had Groupy1.5 installed prior to installing Groupy2. I then wiped the test machine and did a clean install of Windows 10 - 19045.3086, follow

I uninstalled Groupy2 and purged everything from my system related to Groupy or Groupy2. I then installed Groupy1.5. Everything works flawlessly. Nothing else changed on my system between the Groupy versions. I'm wondering what changed in Groupy2 that could cause this issue with the taskbar thumbnails on Windows 10? Why would a conflict occur with Groupy2 and not Groupy1.5? I exchanged a list of installed apps with the OP, and I can't find any common apps between my system and h

Thanks for taking the time to create this video. It’s just crazy that the OP and my systems are unique in this issue. I will continue to work with the OP to try and trace the cause of this issue. I have purged and reinstalled to no avail. Something is causing this, but it’s difficult to trace. Thanks again.
