I cant find "show windows contents" or "dragging" in Windows 11 settings - please update your screen popup message.
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.
I cant find "show windows contents" or "dragging" in Windows 11 settings - please update your screen popup message.
Open System Properties and then on the Advanced tab click Performance settings. On the Visual Effects tab check the box next to "Show windows contents while dragging."
To get to System Properties, search for "Advanced system settings," and open it.

Thank you Pelaird. On Win 11, non of the nomenclature you used matched what i saw, but I knew what you were talking about, so found it anyway. Wonder if Stardock expects its Groupy Users to figure this out?
It would be most unusual for anyone to have changed this setting as thats been the OS default since I think Windows 98 so we have assumed a user who changed it would have known they had made that change and the name of the setting was sufficient to jog a users memory.
Of course we had forgotten some users might have used some sort of performance tool which could have set this and so wouldn't know the setting even existed.
I am pleased you were able to find the setting. In the past we didn't detect this and Groupy just didn't work right which was a little frustrating for users and support.
