Thank you very much for that answer BoogieBac , I really appreciate it and that does explain it me very well. Stardock has not dissapointed me yet (And I ahve purchased a lot of games and software from Stardock), I will keep following the progress of Elemental and see how it goes. Chances are that I will get it in the end, its

Please forgive me if this has been discussed somewhere, I did a search and did not find anything. Anyway, as I look at a couple of screenshots for this game, I am wondering why they look so...(for lack of a better word)...bad? While I am still reading about the game play of this game and it sounds really interesting, the screenshots for this game are really turning me off. These are the kinds of graphics I tend to see in free MMO's and such, I just dont why this "carto

Nevermind, I played both demos and Lights of Altair was by far the better game IMHO.
I am looking for a cheap RTS/Strategy game and perusing Impulse I see AI Wars and Lights of Altair. Both look interesting, I would say that Lights of Altair seems to have the better graphics, but AI Wars seems to be the bigger game. Opinions?

I still cannot get The Withcer downloaded and yes I have submitted a ticket. But one question is The Witcher says its 13GB's, but when I am trying to download it, its say its 8.41GB's. I wonder if this is part of my download problem.
Well I submitted a support request 5 days ago and have not gotten a repsonse, so I have submitted a request for a full refund. The tech support email said a reponse could take up to 48 hours for a response and I have waited for more than double that time with no reponse, so I think a full refund request is perfectly reasonable.
I just recently purchased Deskscapes and started running some of hte cool animated Dream Wallpapers. But since installing the software there are times when my desktop goes black and the computer hard locks and I am forced to push the restart button. This is a once or twice a day occurance. I have since uninstalled Deskscapes and the problem goes away. Any ideas on how I can fix this? My system specs: <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;

As for me, while I await the Demigod Beta, I have fired up GCII: TOA and am playing some Metaverse games. Other than that, I was playing a little bit of Fate, but I have grown oh so bored of that game. What are you doing to pass the time?
Yes I do know that. But I dont think Stardock is gonna put its name on something that is not top quality. I just dont see it happening. I get the feeling that Stardock is very protective of its well earned reputation.
You are a far more trusting person than I
Stardock has earned my trust and with that I want to support a quality developer like Stardock to send a message to all those "other" developers that consistanly put out over-hyped crap and then ignore thier customer base when they start complaining. I also like Bethesda Software as well (Elder Scroll Series), they do a good job with thier games. Besides that, I never pre-order games, I always wait to see h
I see threads called "Pre-Order Questions" that are looking for some reason to pre-order. I pre-order ALL of Stardocks games without question. Top Quality games, no DRM and Developer/Customer interaction are all reasons why I buy all of Stardock games without any hesitation. I remember pre-ordering SOASE and I didnt even know what the game was at the time, but it didnt matter because it was Stardock and they have yet to dissapoint me in any manner. As a long
Stardock, Move to Colorado, its a very tech company friendly state tax wise and is also one of the most beautiful states in the Union. You would be very happy here.
I agree with a move away from the flat 2D map and let’s get into some 3D action. I would also like to see some RPG elements incorporated with the invasion armies. It would be awesome to have armies gain experience like your ships do and get better and tougher. I would like the ability to name individual ships like you can do in SOASE. Higher res textures for higher end computers available. I have always liked well done cut scenes in-between campaign scenari
So....any ideas? Anything?
Not nessesarily, it only seems to happen between missions during the mission decsription phase (ie my screen shots), the game never crashes when I am acutally playing. Only when I have completed a campaign mission and the game is trying to tell me what the next mission is. Regardless if I start the campaign from the beggining and play seveal missions or load a saved game, inbetween missions is when I get the corrupted text and sometimes an out right crash to desktop. It doesn
Be sure to have fun with the Metaverse. I know I have fun with seeing my stats compared to everyone elses. This game is too much funm it needs an alarm feature so you know when to stop playing. :p
Stardock wont go anywhere with the current business model they are using. I own GC + Expansions, GCII + Expansions and Sins and I will buy any Sins expansions even if I am burned out on the game and I will buy whatever thier next major release is as well. I wont even bother waiting to hear if its any good because I know it will be. And thats why Stardock will be around for a while because I know I am not the only one
OTOH, we have people buying Sins who don't even care about the game, just because we *don't* use DRM.
Since I discoverd Stardock when GCI came out, I have blindly and happily purhcased the GC1 expansion, GCII & Expansions and then I through down my hard earned cash for Sins as soon as I saw it, hell I had no idea what Sins even was, but it did not matter to me because: 1) Its Stardock, I know it will be quality 2) Stardock will listen to its customers when i
Very nice work, thank you indeed. I have been getting my butt kicked with my old RTS turtle mode of operation that is a long formed habit.
~50% per core is a good indication that it is splitting the same work and not actually utilising both cores individually.
Please forgive me, but I dont understand the distinction. Also, could the O/S be making a difference? I am running Vista 64bit.
I think, but am not certain, that if you click on the ship you want to be the leader and then drag a box over the rest of the fleet and select the form fleet button that the ship you have selected will be the leader.
