Yes I do know that. But I dont think Stardock is gonna put its name on something that is not top quality. I just dont see it happening. I get the feeling that Stardock is very protective of its well earned reputation.
You are a far more trusting person than I
Stardock has earned my trust and with that I want to support a quality developer like Stardock to send a message to all those "other" developers that consistanly put out over-hyped crap and then ignore thier customer base when they start complaining. I also like Bethesda Software as well (Elder Scroll Series), they do a good job with thier games. Besides that, I never pre-order games, I always wait to see h

I see threads called "Pre-Order Questions" that are looking for some reason to pre-order. I pre-order ALL of Stardocks games without question. Top Quality games, no DRM and Developer/Customer interaction are all reasons why I buy all of Stardock games without any hesitation. I remember pre-ordering SOASE and I didnt even know what the game was at the time, but it didnt matter because it was Stardock and they have yet to dissapoint me in any manner. As a long

On the last Campaign mission, you have to build a Terror Star and destroy the sun around your starting planet. But when I do so, I get a Defeat message...Why? Am I doing something wrong, I build a Terror Star as fast as I can and blast destroy the star, why does that not win the scenario?

I agree with a move away from the flat 2D map and let’s get into some 3D action. I would also like to see some RPG elements incorporated with the invasion armies. It would be awesome to have armies gain experience like your ships do and get better and tougher. I would like the ability to name individual ships like you can do in SOASE. Higher res textures for higher end computers available. I have always liked well done cut scenes in-between campaign scenari

Not nessesarily, it only seems to happen between missions during the mission decsription phase (ie my screen shots), the game never crashes when I am acutally playing. Only when I have completed a campaign mission and the game is trying to tell me what the next mission is. Regardless if I start the campaign from the beggining and play seveal missions or load a saved game, inbetween missions is when I get the corrupted text and sometimes an out right crash to desktop. It doesn

Stardock wont go anywhere with the current business model they are using. I own GC + Expansions, GCII + Expansions and Sins and I will buy any Sins expansions even if I am burned out on the game and I will buy whatever thier next major release is as well. I wont even bother waiting to hear if its any good because I know it will be. And thats why Stardock will be around for a while because I know I am not the only one

Not only do I remember Pong, I remember the Atari 2600! I also had an Atari 800 Computer. It was just a Keyboard comptuer that hooked to your TV. You could get an optional External 5-1/4" Floppy drive....Wow!!! Ahhh yes, the good old days of 8-bit computing :)

Hello, I am currently playing with your Mod installed and loving it. My only complaint at this point is the that there are too many icons. I dont think I really need icons for fighter groups running around all over the map, its kind of too much with all the other icons you added to the game. Is there way to either make the fighter, ship, resource, fleet, etc icons an option or eliminate some of them so the map is not so crowded with them? Thank you again for all yo
OTOH, we have people buying Sins who don't even care about the game, just because we *don't* use DRM.
Since I discoverd Stardock when GCI came out, I have blindly and happily purhcased the GC1 expansion, GCII & Expansions and then I through down my hard earned cash for Sins as soon as I saw it, hell I had no idea what Sins even was, but it did not matter to me because: 1) Its Stardock, I know it will be quality 2) Stardock will listen to its customers when i
For the record, I am running an Intel Core 2 Duo and like I said above, both cores are very busy during my entire play session. There is a Gadget for the Vista side bar called the Multi-meter and it keeps a graphical representation of CPU core usage and RAM usage and I simply drag that over to my other monitor to see what a game is using. I think its one of the most usefull Vistsa gadgets out there. It SHOWS you that it's using both...but it's very possible that one core is being used for

I think, but am not certain, that if you click on the ship you want to be the leader and then drag a box over the rest of the fleet and select the form fleet button that the ship you have selected will be the leader.

I have the ability via a dual monitor set-up to view the CPU activity per core while I am playing and I can tell you that both cores are very busy while playing Sins. SO I dont know what elese needs to be done, but from my observations, it sure seems like Dual Cores CPU's are being untilized to the fullest.
