Bug #1 and #2 are caused by the respective programs. They treat the screen differently than other programs so OD can't get a proper capture of their window. It's something that Stardock should work on, but definately not caused by them. I believe that Bug #3 has been fixed in the latest paid versions of OD. I used to have the same issue a while ago, but now all is working as it should. There are third party recycle bin docklets, but I had problems with those as well.
I'm currently experience the screen flicker/repaint issue
This is totally a Quicken issue. It even does this with a fresh install of Windows. The flickering issue is definately not caused by anything made by Stardock.
When will this be fixed?
Probably never. There are some bugs in ObjectDock that are YEARS old and haven't been fixed. If OD isn't doing what you want right now, I'd get my money back and wait for the updates. If you need to, use the free version in the meantime.

Just a question... Would it be unreasonable to request a refund after using the program for six or more months? Many users have been patiently waiting for bugs to be fixed and decided to wait instead of instantly requesting a refund.

When Microsoft came along with Vista, Stardock used it as a convenient excuse not to fix ObjectDock. They said that they were too busy making it work with Vista to fix any pre-existing bugs. Now that Microsoft is working on Windows 7, does that mean that Stardock won't have time to correct any of these pre-existing bugs, or any of the Vista related bugs? ...and yes, I am HONESTLY asking this question with the intent of getting an answer, not stirring up trouble.

First and foremost, I would like to see the bugs in ObjectDock addressed. Many have been around for a long time. There are also a lot of us Vista 64bit users out there. As for added functionality, I'd like the following: - have the option to drag/drop icons onto a folder shortcut and have the icon go to that folder instead of being added to the dock. - change the default location that ObjectDock starts to browse from. All my icons are located at "C:\Windows\Icons" -
Biggest problem is that I cant drag icons anymore... spacers seem to leave artifacts in their location on the opposite monitor
I've had this happen as well. The screen coordinates on the second monitor aren't mapped correctly, so the dock is drawn in one place, but is active elsewhere. A couple things to try. Use display properties and drag the second monitor to the opposite side of the first. Also, if they are at different resolutions, try aligning the to
what definition of recent is used when speaking the sentence "recent purchasers will get their update for free"?
Well, Stardock has been commenting for years that ObjectDock 2.0 is coming out. If you've purchased ObjectDock before January 2010, you're probably out of luck. I still see bugs in OD that have been there for years. They will NEVER be fixed because Stardock is busy making new junk and can't be bothered to fix the st
This has been discussed to death in other threads, but in a nutshell: large archive support (pretty important for new games), increased security, a more manageable code base, better external publisher support (TBD) and a few other things. In any case, you can still use Stardock Central for everything ODNT.
I wasn't questioning the value of Impulse. I was questioning the resources that they wasted develo

Just wondering... was there ever a fix for this issue? I'm now running Vista Home Ultimate with an ATI video card and Quicken still freezes OD in it's tracks. Currently running OD+, but don't have the version number handy at the moment. Intuit won't acknowledge that there are any issues at all. I know that they won't be seeing any more of my money. Thanks!

Nice link, Mirsguy... Any idea what that link is supposed to show? 64bit Vista and ObjectDock do NOT play well together. There is supposed to be an update this month ... that's sometime in the next 13 days. Of course, I'll believe it when I see it.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64bit. I also have ObjectDock Plus installed. It is v1.90.033 according to Impulse, or v1.90a (Build 538u) according to "About ObjectDock". At every boot, my desktop loads normally. My various docks appear. Then I get an error telling me that Objectdock.exe has stopped working. I close the error message and my docks all work fine (with the exception of my taskbar dock being empty). When this occurs I get the following in my event log:</

I did cut a support ticket with Stardock and they say that ObjectDock CANNOT launch ANY 64 bit programs. Any program started by a dock will be running in 32bit mode. I'm not sure if I believe them, but I can't see any way to verify this, and I do know that programs started from the docks don't always run the same as from my Start menu. I do have PuTTY installed, but sometimes I'm at a command prompt and just need to test something quickly. If I could set PuTTY to be the

Could someone who still has 1.90i[b].020 installed do an archive of the program and make the files available to me? I don't think the archive contains any registration information (and correct me if I'm wrong).
