After unfortunately not making any progress with Stardock support on my changing screens / docking stations issue with Windows 10 (linked above), I have switched to StartIsBack which provides the option to center my icons and works fine when I connect/disconnect and is in active development. It of course lacks all the features of Start11 but I really wanted the centered icons given I use a widescreen monitor size. I did have similar issues with TaskbarX so appreciate the challenge in
What problems are you having with docking stations and changing resolutions?
To follow up I have posted about this here: https://forums.stardock.com/523628/get;3907831

I am still finding with Start11 v2 (including latest beta 1.02) problems when undocking my Dell laptop. When docked I use a 4K monitor (3840x2160) and when undocked use my laptop screen (1920x1080). When I undock and use my laptop screen (switching from 3840x2160 to 1920x1080) Start 11v2 the task bar crops to the right as shown. I did do a complete uninstall, reboot and install then reboot when upgrading to the latest beta. I also passed Go and collected $200 :-)

Brad Sams tweeted that Start 11 is going through a major revamp Any insights on what features are coming? Will it finally work better for those with docking stations and changing monitor resolutions? Thanks.
Something like Ultramon or DisplayFusion or actual window tools?
Yes I do have Displayfusion installed. Even with DF turned off the same thing happens. It appears to occur the first time an Office app loads or a new window is created. Once I maximize/restore the window is displayed correctly without overlap.

Can you uninstall Groupy, reboot and then reinstall Groupy just to rule out file replacement issues. Thanks Neil, I did do this on doing the upgrade as know this is a best practice when installing updates.

I'm still getting the overlap issues with MS Office apps as reported here https://forums.stardock.com/521553/get;3898534 Running Windows 10 [Version 10.0.19045.3324]

I am having some issues with the 2.1 update [I have done an uninstall, reboot and reinstall which has not fixed it] I have set Groupy 2 to Integrate the Tabs. When starting some apps (like PowerPoint) which loads maximized, Groupy 2 is overlapping the window as shown and I have to restore window and then maximize for it to display correctly.

So I have made some progress with this using AutoHotKey and creating 2 scripts. For moving the taskbar icons to the left
#NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. SendMode Input ; Recommended for new scripts due to its superior speed and reliability. Is there a way to quickly toggle the position of the taskbar icons and start button without having to go through the GUI? (i.e via command line) So I can create a one click shortcut. I would like to toggle between the left and center positions depending on whether my laptop is docked (larger monitor) or not.

When I connect or disconnect my laptop from an external monitor (change display and resolution) the taskbar icons are shifted to the right and some icons are out of sight. Re-running Start11 does force a refresh and the icons appear normally in the center. Any ideas how to fix this? I also used to get the same problem with TaskbarX.

I agree with the OP too - I am struggling to understand what benefit this provides over and above Task View and Task Bar. Also I would like to understand the integration with Groupy. On initial assessment, I thought this was some sort of window manager (as the name seems to indicate) like Fancyzones but realized soon after it has nothing to do with that.

Windows version: 10.0.19042.685 Applications open - usually I close any open windows when I shutdown but for reference, I do have Displayfusion and Rainmeter installed that are always running if that is helpful.

I have recently installed and purchased Groupy (1.46) and am seeing this message each time I shutdown. Any way to troubleshoot what is causing this?

Is there a way to independently set the start menu color from the Win 10 accent color setting? At the moment the start menu stays the same as the taskbar color. I was hoping following this article it would work by changing the ColorPrevalence registry key setting but it seems Start10 ignores that. I want to set the start menu to black and keep my taskbar green.
