Big new features coming in Start 11?

Brad Sams tweeted that Start 11 is going through a major revamp

Any insights on what features are coming? Will it finally work better for those with docking stations and changing monitor resolutions?

Thanks.

That part was already answered.  They have no insights into what's coming.  So Neil Banfield thought to be helpful and address the 2nd part of the OP's post

Neil is actually the lead developer of start 11, so he would be part of the inner circle  .. BUT, I suppose they may not be ready to release details yet.. doesn't mean I cant try :D

I do wonder what the biggest release yet would be. i.e. a File explorer alternative, Start 11 becomes its own OS?

After unfortunately not making any progress with Stardock support on my changing screens / docking stations issue with Windows 10 (linked above), I have switched to StartIsBack which provides the option to center my icons and works fine when I connect/disconnect and is in active development. It of course lacks all the features of Start11 but I really wanted the centered icons given I use a widescreen monitor size.

I did have similar issues with TaskbarX so appreciate the challenge in getting this right. For now, I am least able to get what I want working. I hope to return to using Start11 when I upgrade to Windows 11 in the future.

All the best!
