The free Ubuntu bar have beautiful effects, that this program yet do not implement.
There are a lot of dock programs for GNOME and KDE. Which one specifically are you referencing?

It's worth noting that when our applications are written, we don't test them on Windows XP x64. However, that doesn't mean that they will always fail, it just means that Windows XP x64 isn't a supported platform. In other words, it may or may not work, and if it doesn't we won't be able to provide technical support to aide in making it work.
At this point, are you able to change the cursor to anything? Are you able to revert to the Windows default cursor?
At this point I can only suggest to uninstall and reinstall, as verify installation doesn't always work on third party games.
When I access Internet Explorer 8 from an icon on Objectdock 2 beta, it doesn't run flash on webpages.
Please ensure that the Internet Explorer shortcut isn't set to run IE without add-on support.
Understood, but is it at least being actively worked on? Or has poor JB been moved back on Impulse again?
I don't have the information you seek. I can tell you that Jeff is always busy with multiple projects, though. That doesn't mean he isn't going to set aside time for working on OD+ 2 in the future. When specifically, though, I don't know.
Please download and run the following utility: http://sd.stardock.com/SDSupportTool.exe This is a tool that we use to gather relevant log files and basic information about your computer. Once the utility finishes running, please send an email to support@stardock.com with the output .zip attached and a reference to this thread.
Try removing Impulse completely with the following removal tool: http://sd.stardock.com/curtHendzell/CleanImpulse.exe Once you do this, please reboot and reinstall Impulse from the latest installer: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe If you still experience problems, send an email to support@stardock.com and we'll look deeper.
anyone know when a new version is due with bug fixes?
There is no release date for the next beta at this time.
is there a way to reset the contents back to their folder without having to handle all the icons manually?
Under Configure Fences -> Tools -> Snapshots (Backups).. you can revert to when the icons were in the Fences. If you are using the free version and haven't taken a recent snapshot, you're better off sorting manually. Note that Fences Pro takes automatic daily snapshots.
is it a bug that will be fixed when long awaited post beta version appears?
As the stack docklet is a third party docklet, not one made by Stardock, it will not necessarily be fixed in future releases. I'd suggest contacting the creator of the docklet.
Can't you show open items by checking the appropriate item in the "Enable Taksbar / System tray" section under More Options for the zoomer dock? The "Show Open Windows" works just like on the Windows task bar. At least it works that way for me.
Also a good solution
Also, you can click the shortcut on the dock for the programs you are trying to switch between if you have the following enabled under Settings -> Advanced Tweaks: http://bit.ly/94d9Lm
I see a registration for ObjectDock Plus 2 upgrade attached to your Impulse account. If "ObjectDock Plus 2" is not listed under the "My Software" tab in Impulse, try enabling showing of pre-release software under the Impulse menu. If it still doesn't show, try closing Impulse and running the following file: http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type corre
HI all, i have a problem with the star menu option of OD 2.0 beta, when i clic on it the first two times works fine, the start menu opens normally, but the third time i clic on it i have this message and start menu icon stops working:
I've seen this before, but have been unable to reproduce it. It's on my list of bugs, though, so hopefully this can be fixed in a later beta release.
The ObjectDock Plus v2 Beta is actually version 1.97 in Impulse. If you have v1.97, then you have the ObjectDock Plus 2 beta.
We are aware of this being logged by Windows. The developer is aware of the issue, and it's nothing to worry about.
I've added your suggestion to the "wish list" for potential ObjectDock features.
What is the web address of the page you get this on?
but I would like to know if there will be the "freeware" version with the final OD 2.0 release ... hopefully earlier
Most likely, but I haven't been made aware of specific plans.
When will an update with some problems fixed?
Sorry, I don't have any release information on ObjectDock Beta updates yet.
ObjectDock Plus v2.0 is currently in beta, but does have system tray support for 64-bit operating systems. Those who purchase ObjectDock Plus 2 will have access to the beta immediately, and will receive the finished product when it is complete. Note that there is no release date for ObjectDock Plus v2.0 yet. Previous owners of ObjectDock can upgrade to v2.0 for a discounted price at the following site: http://www.impulsedriv
So far I have been unable to reproduce any of these problems. Do they stop after closing ObjectDock Plus v2.0? Also, do you have any Windows customization software that plugs into explorer.exe?
This doesn't sound like something that ObjectDock Plus 2 could do. Does this behavior occur when OD+2 isn't running?
