Do you perhaps have a GeForce 8000 series graphics card? Some people are having problems as a result of the latest driver release from NVIDIA.
I have the ObkectDock version 2 paid version and my weather object does not work either. Tried the fix in reply #20 but did not work either. I removed the icon and readded it, but still did not work.
How did you re-add the weather docklet? The reason I ask is because ObjectDock Plus v2 beta doesn't have the UI element for adding the weather docklet.
Changes that you make to your fences on any of the virtual desktops affect the original (real) desktop.
Are you now able to use Deskscapes 3, mic11966?
They are compatible, but you will only be able to use Fences on the original desktop.
At this point, please send an email to support@stardock.com referencing this thread.
You can find this by right-clicking on a fence, View -> Opacity
You can do this, but it will apply globally, not just to the icons in Fences. To do so, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Folder Options -> General, then select single-click.
Impulse always has the latest version available, that's all.
A later build of ObjectDock v2 beta should bring back the backup and restore UI elements.
I like it. This is something I've had on the wishlist since OD+ 2 came out.
Try uninstalling Fences completely and then run the file below: http://sd.stardock.com/curtHendzell/clear_fences_settings.reg Once you do this, reboot and reinstall the latest version through Impulse.
Try downloading the following installer: http://storage.stardock.com/files/MyColors_setup_ThinkGreen.exe If that doesn't work, try this one: http://sd.stardock/anthony/MyColors_setup_ThinkGreen.exe If neither one works, I'd recommend downloading through Impulse (which will always have the latest version): <
Cavan1, I see what he's saying now; I misinterpreted it. In regards to #4, armartlot, this is not yet possible. This is something that is on the ObjectDock beta bug list.
1.) The current beta is missing the UI option for adding the weather docklet. We expect this to be fixed in the next beta. 2.) v1.90 docklets are not necessarily compatible with v2.0 3.) I can't reproduce this. Try resetting your dock settings and contents under Settings -> Troubleshooting Options 4.) I'm also unable to reproduce this. Please enable the taskbar under Settings -> Hide the taskbar. Please enable the systray via Dock -> On my dock -> enable ta
It sounds like you're thinking of an ObjectDesktop subscription, which includes DeskScapes. The benefit of ObjectDesktop is (so long as you continue to renew every year) you will have access to the latest versions of Stardock applications. Note that even with standalone purchases, we typically offer the next major version at a discount to previous owners.
Please download and run the following utility: http://sd.stardock.com/SDSupportTool.exe This is a tool that we use to gather relevant log files and basic information about your computer. Once the utility finishes running, send an email to support@stardock.com with a reference to this thread and the .zip file the utility created on the desktop attached to the email.
Office doesn't skin with WindowBlinds, as it already uses its own skin. Generally speaking, any program that already uses its own custom skin won't skin (at least properly) with WindowBlinds.
While the current stable version of ObjectDock (v1.90) is not fully 64-bit compatible, ObjectDock v2.0 is currently in beta and is fully 64-bit compatible. You can find more information here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-SDS-W459
This sounds like you're trying to introduce feature creep [e digicons]:P[/e]
I imagine the reason that Sound Packager only imports WAV files is because Windows uses WAV files for its sounds. MP3 conversion to WAV conversion could be done, but there are a lot of applications that already do that for free. It's my understanding that additional recurring license fees would be involved with using MP3, also.
Fences and Deskscapes should work fine together on Vista/7.
From the EULA: YOU MAY: 1. Install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE on a single computer. 2. Install a second copy of the SOFTWARE on a second computer only if you are the main user of this computer (home computer or laptop for example).
The developer has actually been able to reproduce this bug, so a fix should be coming in the future.
Which version of ObjectDock are you using, v1.90 or v2.0? Also, is this the free or the plus version? If using v1.90, try following this link in Internet Explorer (Firefox and other browsers do no handle the file type correctly): 32 bit: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/install_weather.bat 64 bit: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/install_weather_64.bat save the file and run it from your machine (right click and run as administrator for Vista) and follow it's instruc
