Which version of ObjectDock are you using? You can prevent ObjectDock from starting on Windows startup by un-checking the "Load at Startup" option on the ObjectDock Settings panel. Also, you can rollback your dock contents/settings by browsing to the "Troubleshooting Options" section and clicking the corresponding button.
Is "Load at Startup" checked on the settings panel in ObjectDock?
OPTIONS people, not LIMITATIONS -- you are not Microsoft after all...are you?
Nope, we aren't. We are a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, though! By creating customization software we are trying to give users more options with how their computer looks and works. I have documented both the digital clock idea and the ability to have both system tray and open windows displayed on the same dock, and will forward this to Jeff (the developer).
Unfortunately I've also seen VERY little feedback since the launch of v2.0b Come on guys throw us a bone here.
We're watching and taking notes, don't worry! I've been quite busy working on reproducing bugs, as well as documenting new bugs as they are reported. I like the categories idea, and the developer has been informed of the feature requests we receive. Ultimately, we can't include every feature that is suggested, but we take each one we see under consid
Updated builds of ObjectDock Plus 2 will be published to Impulse when available. For now, if verifying through Impulse and clearing your settings doesn't work, please submit a bug report to the forum thread here: https://forums.stardock.com/379048
This has been confirmed, and the developer is aware of the issue. Selecting the option to show all icons seems to work.
Yes, you can safely delete these files after MyColors has been uninstalled.
Try uninstalling Fences, then clearing out your settings with the following: <a title="To try and resolve this issue, try verifying the application through Impulse. To clarify, do you get the option to change the monitor, but it doesn't move?
I can verify this on two seperate machines that have ObjectDock Plus v2.0 Beta installed. I believe that it's just debug info that isn't handled by the VC++ redist. I'll pass it by the developer, but I don't think it's a problem.
Conversationpc, can you please provide a picture of what you are seeing so that we can better troubleshoot?
I've never seen ObjectDock cause this before. Does setting the theme from Aero to classic, then back again resolve the issue?
I can't think of any way to do this. You could take the contents of a folder and place it into a separate fence to view the files.
Both are possible. Add a new dock, then under position click "Change Monitor".
As a temporary fix, under your settings -> troubleshooting options, click the reset dock contents button to get it back. The developer has been informed of the problem.
Existing owners of ObjectDock Plus can upgrade for $9.95: http://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-SDS-W460
If you haven't already done so, send an email to sales@stardock.com
Make sure that software that blocks system changes (such as antivirus software) is not blocking this by temporarily disabling it. Also, ensure that you are running LogonStudio as administrator.
Also, make sure to check that it's not coming from the speakers
Computers don't have many constantly moving parts that could squeal. It's either a fan, optical drive, hard drive or...... a pig.
1.) This isn't a problem. 2.) The software is yours for as long as you decide to keep it 3.) Generally, you will get minor version updates for free. When new major versions come out, we usually have a lower upgrade price for previous owners. You can keep your old version, but it may not necessarily be compatible with newer operating systems.
Yes, Windows 7 x64 is supported. You can find the system requirements for ObjectDock v2.0 here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-SDS-W459
You can change this globally in Windows, but this is not a setting in Fences. To do this in Windows Vista/7, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Folder Options and select click items as single click, then click ok. In XP, you can get to Folder Options from an explorer window via View -> Folder Options.
