Which versions of the following are you using: -Objectdock -Video drivers -Windows
Dewie
Avatar137, you can purchase the upgrade to ObjectDock Plus 2 Beta here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-SDS-W460

Try removing Impulse completely with the following removal tool: http://sd.stardock.com/curtHendzell/CleanImpulse.exe Once you do this, please reboot and reinstall Impulse from the latest installer: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe
Ulot: Beta 3 is now available.
You should be able to right-click on the icon and select "Exclude this icon from Fences' quick-hide".
Does this occur with both video dreams and dynamic dreams? I haven't had a problem with Deskscapes 3.2 and my NVIDIA drivers. We'll certainly take note and keep a look out for others having this problem. For the time being, try reverting to the drivers that last worked correctly.
Thanks for your feedback. These are good suggestions.
I'm glad to hear this resolved the problem.
Flyout menus don't currently exist in ObjectDock 2 beta, but they may come back in a later release. I have them on the wishlist.
Thank you for your bug report. This is a known bug. This may be fixed in the future, but I don't an ETA.
Auto arrange allows Fences to move the icons outside of their borders. If you have this disabled, you will be able to overlap fences.
Please right-click on the desktop, then browse to 'View'. Is "Lock Fences" checked? If not, please right-click on the desktop -> Configure Fences -> About -> Check for updates and install the latest version to see if it resolves the problem.
Which version of Fences are you using? The version number can be found by right-clicking on the desktop -> Configure Fences -> About.
You can still use Impulse to update the free version of Fences. You can get Impulse here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/downloads/impulse_setup_full.exe You can also update by right-clicking on the desktop -> Configure Fences -> About -> Check for updates. Note that the installer on the Fences product page will also be updated.
Just a quick update: a fix is being worked on right now. However, I don't have an ETA an its release at this time. When available, you can download it from under the "Updates" tab in Impulse. Note that the "Updates" tab is only visible when updates are available.
Nutshell69, you don't have ObjectDock v2 Upgrade on your account. You do however qualify for an upgrade for $9.95: http://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-SDS-W460
Stardock ControlCenter is very old, and is only compatible with Windows 95/98/NT/2000. Regarding the error you are getting with ThemeManager, please send an email to support@stardock.com referencing this thread.
ObjectDock v2 is missing the UI element for doing backups. However, you can simply save the following folder and zip it, which is the same thing: XP:C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus Vista/7: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus
Messing with the registry is a dangerous thing, and I cannot, in good conscience, tell you to do something like that.
By the way, my method still affects the registry, so this still applies.
The Fences shell extension for the context menus are in: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Fences\FencesMenu.dll and C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Fences\FencesMenu64.dll Depending on if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system. Unfortunately it's all or nothing in this case. As the actual strings themselves are contained in the DLLs, you will have to disable all Fences context menu entries. To do so, download ShellExView from here: 32-b
I see that you have an ObjectDesktop registration, but not a registration for Desktop X Pro. Note that ObjectDesktop comes with Desktop X Standard, not professional. If Impulse is reporting that Pro is installed, I recommend right-clicking on its entry, then clicking "Hide Application". You can read about the differences between versions here: https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/purchase.asp
Are you running a 64-bit operating system? If so, I believe the IIS manager is a 64-bit application, which cannot be launched from ObjectDock (which is 32-bit).
If after following Hanker's suggestion you find that you still need help, please send us an email to support@stardock.com with a reference to this thread.
Thanks for the report. I can confirm that this is a known bug, and that it is on the list of things to fix.
