Upgraded to Windows 7 and found a variant of that Start Menu moving to bottom left-hand corner bug I mentioned in my first post in this thread. The difference in this variant is that when you click on the Start Menu orb and then hover over All Programs the whole menu jumps to the left. Grrr that's annoying... :(

It works, but those bugs mentioned in the appropriate thread haven't gone away. I found another annoying one that I'll post there right now :P
So I'm guessing i get the updates free, but only if thats what stardock decides to release it for free.
Sort of. All the updates between 1.x and 2.0 (exclusive), 2.x and 3.0 (exclusive) etc are free. An update from 1.9 to 2.0 most likely won't be free.

What voidcore posted needs some refinement. ObjectDock comes in two flavours: free and Plus (paid). The free version is free to get and free to use, but it's not as often and as well looked after as the Plus version. The Plus version is the one you have to pay for. You can pay a one-off fee and use it forever. You get all the updates in a particular iteration cycle free. For example, when I bought my OD+ it was version just before 1.5 (can't remember which one). I got 1.5 upda

Speaking cynically, collectively we're like Oliver who's holding out his bowl and asking: "Please sir, can I have some more?"

Let's rephrase: I don't think a stable 2.0 release will be out this year. For the first time ever I'd love to be proven wrong.

There's another article for those who didn't catch it on WinCust: https://www.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=360297 We've entered the 3rd quarter and there's still no release date. I've got a bad feeling that it won't even be released next quarter, let alone this one. Maybe around Christmas at the earliest...

As I mentioned it in another thread, my tabbed dock takes very long to boot as well. I'll concentrate my input in this thread now :)
I'd def. say it's the way OD handles finding the target of the shortcut and also finding the icon to display. Where do you keep the icons that are being used? For instance, I've noticed that when I use an icon from my external drive, it takes a little longer to find it than when I use and icon that I place inside the OD folder. I created a folder called icons in there and place all the icons I want to use in that folder.&nbs

Yes, I was aware of the acknowledgement and the workaround, but just wanted to add it to the bunch. P.S. It would be nice of the SD chaps to drop in now and then and post a couple of lines about which bugs will be given a priority and update us on the development. After so long since 1.9, you can't blame people for being eager.

It was mentioned in another thread, so I'll just link to it here. It's a bug with not being able to focus on Skype stuff. More info: https://forums.stardock.com/338912

FYI, I just rebooted and it took 14.8 seconds from when the first normal dock appeared to when the tabbed dock appeared. Clearly, that's not normal. If a member of the support team wishes to take this issue further with me they can PM me here.

If you and messiah1 have put two arguments in favour of OD, why is not fair for me to somewhat balance the scales by saying that there is a performance issue with tabbed docks.
