Please clarify (with flavor text) that the Dodge bonuses from Shrink and Lucky stack multiplicatively with the base dodge stat, NOT additively.

Tatty, can you drop a copy of your current save on dropbox or something? I'd like to take a look at it...
To be perfectly honest I don't know, I didn't check through them first. However, it being Resoln, that's not a terribly unlikely option... I'll be on the lookout for Mirror Elementals in the future.
Even better! Just had a battle where an enemy Defender cast First Aid on itself. Repeatedly. For 0 HP each time (yay broken ability!).
Ha! And the very next battle, almost identical troop loadout, they decide not to run away...
I'm on "Challenging" AI in combat, and I just finished a battle I shouldn't have won. Why? Because 6 stacks of melee units just engaged a solo ranged champion. How did I win? They ran away. Every time I got a stack's hp low enough, they would cease to approach and instead pull distance. Against a ranged unit. All I had to do was keep focusing groups until they stopped advancing. No one even attacked me in melee. And no, there were no healers on the field, or any way for th
Definitely. Seconded. +1. Basically, all the "repeatable" research items need to be, well, repetitive! Either as an option or simply that's the way it is.
Started playing the same game today. Just got the message that my Sovereign is no longer immobilized - the one tied to her first immob period. She still has 2 turns left from the Falling Star breakage. Once she's back up, I'll see about killing some more enemies with that spell and see if it breaks again. ETA: And now the three "no longer immobilized" reports, 2 turns later, all for the same person...
That black tile is a error in the definition of the stamp (or missing data) (I think), so there is no tool-tip when you highlight the land... no terrain name?
It is registering as Cerai (my custom faction name) Plains, in both Cloth and 3D maps. I dispatched a unit to the tile, the unit renders fine on both maps, tile remains black on cloth map.
Quoting schattenjaeger, reply 6I'll look into that, but are you seriously suggesting the 3D map is underutilizing the gfx card more than, say, my desktop? No, just that the automatic mode may not set the fan to be fast enough for some reason.
Not fan speed. Ticking noise evident from 35%-100% fan speed (got hard to hear at the high end though, thanks to fan pitch). GPU temp has doubled from a desktop idl
Quoting schattenjaeger, reply 2 Hmm, I'll check. I don't use the 3D map anymore; having a city in the frame causes my graphics card to make an odd ticking noise (like what you get if you clip a playing card in a bicycle wheel and spin it, only not as loud). Sounds like the fan of your graphics card isn't spinning fast enough. I had the same problem with the fan of my CPU-cooler recently. It was set to auto
3D map shows an open patch of purple-tinted ground (same color as the tiles immediately to the west and south), but without a road on it (the aforementioned flanking tiles do have roads, but they were perfectly visible BEFORE gaining those roads, so, that may not be relevant). ETA: Reloading the saved game did not fix the black tile.
In my current game, Resoln just decided to wardec me, and I see it has a stack of 13 armies on one square. I hit it with a Falling Star (wiping out 10 of them!), and am greeted with a series of messages telling me my Sovereign (by name, with her avatar image) teleported out safely and it cost x mana to do so, and she went to a specific city (all 3 notifications said the same place). Two small problems with that: 1) My Sovereign wasn't in range of that spell; she was, in fact, already immo

I've only gotten Tarth as a random AI opponent once... partly since I was glued to them for the first several weeks of playing, as I love their archers so so much. More recently, I've been playing modded games with a focus on melee, but for classic XP rate, 9x6 stacks of archers with Rams' Horn Longbows are made of win and awesome.
4. Air Walk/Call of the Titans: The AI appears to have no ability to either use these spells, or plan for their use against the AI. It depends heavily on a defensive perimeter. The AI doesn't appear to consider the possibility of using spells against it at all, for that matter, but I expect that accounting for these is exceptionally difficult. I would remove them from the game rather than invest the effort required for the AI to handle t

Not sure about some of the ones later in the tree, as even Challenging AI lags behind me r
Well, since I shut off my internet connection when I am not using it (4G modem with usage cap),LH will be waiting for a while to upload it the cloud it can't see, then. I don't remember enabling that option in Steam, however. I will need to check into that. Thanks for the info!
It installed on for me. I initially forgot you *could* disable that feature = P
Quoting schattenjaeger, reply 31Ignore tiles with 1 food, unless grain is in reach. Once you have enough towns those cities that have 5 production and 1 grain are a blast as forts, with huge production you can build another cannon fodder city very, very quickly. I've never had it happen again, but then, I haven't *tried* to make it happen again. Will try some now = P Edit: Got it to freeze mid-animation, but didn't actually lock up. May need to try it with a new game, where I'm not facerolling the NPCs so hard yet = P Got a lock up. As with my first time at this bug, activating
So you have to look at the game as a competition with the AI. I mean, it's much easier to steal a city from an opponent than build one from scratch, so if you have the military might and opportunity to do so, why wouldn't you?
It's kind of interesting you should say this. I Slash and Burn, EVERYTHING. Partly to force the AI back without leaving exposed cities in my wake (that they could theoretically reclaim with a mere P
The problem is that previously each unit could have a different encumbrance maximum. So the effect of a heavy item was not the same in a strong unit than in a weak unit. Now all units get affected the same, all get the same initiative modifier regardless if they are a wizard or a warrior. So why bother going to the gym?
It's D&D 4.0! Wizards with same BAB as Fighters!
Hmm... hadn't noticed I quoted my quoted post? Odd, don't remember doing that. Forgot to mention something: Enable keyboard scrolling on tactical map.
