I got in a game yesterday that was 3v2 in my favor and I actually said in chat saying it was harsh for them. We got completely schooled, I'm pretty good with Sedna, have taken on 2 people on my own several times but my team were quite inexperienced and there was no way I was taking on these 2 on my own, they were really good. Feeling that I'd learnt something I went on and ended up in a Regulus / Sedna combo against 3 players and we managed to get all 3 to rage quit within about
Hi. This isn't dota, please stop bragging about people leaving. On behalf of the Demigod forums. Shut your face. Thanks.
This. Stardock/GPG need to do something about it, until then it's a waste of time moaning. I've had rage quits in about my last 3 games, that's a lot of forum posts if I brag about every one.
I'd like to see Dr Manhatten from the Watchmen as a Demigod. Then I get to enjoy watching all the people on the forum freaking out about his big blue dong dangling around all over the place.
Ignore the manual, Hard DOES cheat, Nightmare cheats more.
I have 2 major problems with this kind of feedback. 1) Most people play TEC, to a lesser extent people play Advent and even less popular Vasari. If you leave it to the community to decide then that order of popularity WILL become the order of effectiveness in game. 2) All this whining is from multiplayer people who play small quick games, I don't want my single player games balanced and effected based solely on 2 or 3 hour games.
I dunno, honestly I dont have isues with being able to see myself or other demigods. Sure once in a while I'll get killed by a toon I didnt see but it's my fault for not paying closer attention. The highlight around a demigod when I hover over them works for me.
That's exactly how I feel. How do you fail to see yourself?! Is it a colour blind issue? Or a problem with certain Demigods? It's a gripe I have with some games
Are we playing the same game? Sometimes I have to rotate the camera because of a tower in the way but that's about it.
I have seen vids of SC 2 and I am so not interested.... I can't believe the lack of progression, if I want retro I'd go play SC 1 again, what is everyone excited about? I just don't need another C&C clone in my life. It reminds me of Dune 2000, in development everyone was so excited "I can't wait to play Dune 2 with great graphics", when it was released everyone realised how much RTS had moved on since them days and it got panned. Diablo 3 on the other hand.....now tha
I'm not being sarcastic, just meant to be a little dead pan. My dead pan has failed.
That's awesome-sauce. I feel clear-headed with my new-found knowledge.
Erebus is my favorite (not favourite) DG 'cuz (not coz) I can chat "NOM NOM NOM" every time i bite-kill someone and induce rage-quits faster through taunting.
As you are the spelling police can you please explain to me why you decided to hyphenate "bite-kill" and "rage-quits"?
Yeah I agree but the thing that really irks me about DK is that any hero invasion is best stopped by picking up every single monster and just dropping them on the heroes head, it's pretty lame. Defeats the idea of adventurers exploring and plundering your dungeon and setting up traps etc.
I finished it on Regulus and got a spinny Regulus and some speach, I just figured it would be a spinny Demigod and speach with all of them so didn't bother. Are they on youtube? Or is there a place I can listen to the speach files?
Majestic 2 = DK? I don't see it really.
Majestic 1 is the exact opposite of Dungeon Keeper in setting, it's almost exactly the same concept in gameplay though. In Majestic you build structures to lure heroes of different type and indirectly control them through their environment to get them to fight monsters that are coming from the dungeons. The heroes level up and go about their business based on their hero type. In Dungeon Keeper&nbs
Hope all you Dungeon Keeper fans have an eye on Majestic 2 ;)
Firstly Blood Bowl, really looking forward to it, it's about time a good board game appeared on the PC, turn based where I can actually work out the maths behind it feels a lot different to turn based with stats I have no idea what actually goes on behind the scenes with. http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/ After that I have preordered the Episodic Secret of Monkey Island games from Telltale games and I'
Space Egg of I win Desolator (I like to get this leveled up so it's ready to really start pounding on early/mid game star bases and get level 6 ability as quick as possible for ultimate SB killer of doom) Carrier (I get it about when carriers have been researched) Battleship (Very late in the game I may get this but it doesn't make much of a difference by then, I do it mainly cause it looks cool [e digicons][/e] )
Reported again. As someone who happens to know a lot of people with learning difficulties because of relatives that work in social services your actions do not look to me that you are doing this because of naivety. Even eccentric people would respond at the countless people including a forum mod telling you to stop creating threads with no reason. I believe you are purposely doing this as either a troll or trying to use certain keywords to seed search engines to your own
By the way I should mention, don't play DoW 1 single player skirmish without the AI improvement mod "Skirmish AI". The campaign can't really be played with the Skirmish AI mod unfortunately. PS. Dark Crusade was a great expansion, the game was at it's best in them days. Soulstorm was made by some third party and was a tiny fraction of the quality of the game that come before it.
It should just be more realistic, if the strike craft aren't moving anything can shoot them.
So.....hold on.....you are complaining that a Vasari base with significant investment shouldn't be able to kill a TEC/Advent star base on it's own when the Vasari Star Base is it's anti structure ship. Oh and the Vasari player had to spend how long inside your gravity well preparing for this?
Tried DoW 1? Completely different game to DoW 2 really, don't let it put you off, I hated it also. If you haven't then the gold version of the game can be picked up for silly money and is worth a purchase.
Technically coming up with a line of sight algorithm that can check all units in the game individually on the fly would be one hell of a challenge. I've no idea how they could do that, beyond making it actually an extremely simple algorithm. I guess you could make it so it only updated as units move or come in to range of other units...but then you would get massive performance hits as you move your army. If you were to make it extremely simple then tons of people would be r
Fixed a bug in the AI that caused too few anti-structure ships to be built when preparing to attack enemy starbases. I'm guessing that'll help. Maybe not enough, but it's a start.
Poor Vasari AI :(
