Ok, pretty sure you're just a troll/spammer now. Reported as such.
I'm an unappologetic crusader for online multiplayer and I think it's a tragedy that only a small percentage of the people who purchased this game ever contemplated coming online. So, when someone puts up a thread complaining about the AI's lack of strategic decision making, it's an open invitation to encourage people to come try the game online. People have a great many misconceptions about online multiplayer and I want to clear
i could be wrong, but company of heroes has an incredible ai in that game, even on normal difficulty it beats me about half the time... it depends on the map tho, the ai can be scary on maps like hill 331 they also use their patch efforts on upgrading their ai, not just balance changes, something every rts should do....
I'm struggling to believe this one, I played Relic's previous game, Dawn of War, pretty much the same
No, the AI does not suck. Compared to other RTS it uses a lot more clever techniques. After you've been playing some time you will be able to beat the AI no problem because you have worked out some niches in it's armour and how and where it is likely to attack, tell me an RTS AI that isn't like that? You can then just stack the teams a little to make it challenging. You and an AI vs 3 AI for example and ramp it up, as long as you don't require fair sides to have fu

Dude stop making threads. Next time you go to post a thread think and ask yourself these simple questions. 1) Is there a thread on this subject already? 2) Have I actually got anything to say? 3) Do people really give a shit about what I'm going to say? If you did ask yourself these questions on your recent threads you have posted then I can assure you, you were wrong on 1 or more of the above questions.
Well, if you don't bother with the speed boost then it's more about your playing style than the usefulness of the ability, isn't it? I always have a Marauder for the speed boost, because it easily lets you catch up to a fleet that's trying to jump out so you can nuke it with a Grav Warhead from your egg and rip it to shreds.
Perhaps, if I'm outvoted on this I'm willing to concede I must just not 'get' the ship or something, but I d
They are plenty balanced. The difference is how people play. Fleets don't get maxed out in typical MP games. But try to deal with 100+ bombers/fighters without a few Flak Bursts from Kols, and try keeping your level 10 capitals alive in the end-game without Dunov's shield restore. The vast majority of the existing capital abilities have a good use, just that some don't come into play because people play short games.
But

Entrenchment 1.02 observations: Seige frigates were overnerfed a LONG time ago and are still today just as useless. A thought to improve them, how about increasing their damage vs planets but make it dependant on anti matter. So just after jumping anywhere they do very little damage for a while but as the AM recharges they become more effective. So hit and run tactics are still bad but they are good at doing the job we are paying so dearly for. The Jasarul Ev
Basically what I take from this is that Valve took all the updates they were going to do for Left 4 Dead (like they do for TF2), put them in a new package, and called it a sequel so they could charge for it.
Maybe it cost them a lot more than they expected? My issue with the single player is the terrible Tournament feature. Basically attempt to be so incredible that you can beat multiple AI who are cheating to hell while you have mentally retarded team mates killing themselves on the opponents towers. The Hard tournament was doable but the Insane Tournament is like knocking down a wall with a spoon. No matter how good you are how are you meant to stop your suicidal team mates feeding them too much gold? Not to mention
Not sure about Australia, I don't think the problem will be your ping but rather potential router or ISP issues. In the UK for example my friends and I cannot reliably play Demigod online because in the UK we use ADSL it seems we have quite different issues to North Americans. Even with the latest patch I get in 1 in 5 Pantheon games because there will be someone who can't connect. And I'm extremely tech savvy and have tried everything. The download is about 2GB.
I'm going to ask you the obvious question first which may be your issue, is it a purchased version or pirate version?
