Just FYI......... an IP beginning with 192.168..... is non-routable (as far as the internet is concerned). That address space is reserved for INTERNAL networks only. With the IP you provided no one EXTERNAL to your LAN will be able to find your voip server. In order to make this work you would need to forward the ventrillo-required port traffic from your router to that INTERNAL IP and then provide potential chat-mates the correct EXTER
the amount of psychoanalyss going into a 1 line quip is impressive here. I was not referring to any particular review or any particular game. I simply think it's poor form for someone who's played a game for many many hours to go and take the time to crap on it in the steam reviews. Clearly, not everyone agrees. That's fine. I'm not looking to convince anyone. However, strangers breathlessly
Why wouldn't I 'jump'...........MS says so........ While being double-charged for a product is an issue you may or may not have been in control of (which as you yourself have posted Stardock has remedied) the issue of your account being 'overdrawn' I would argue is in fact yours.

purely playing devil's advocate here...... I think the point for some may be the fact that some of the 'things you've added' probably should have been 'included' (ie. general bug fixes and stability fixes etc.). bug-fixes, stability improvements, optimization are all things long-term consumers of digital entertainment absolutely expect and even look forward to as solid post-sale support these days; it's just something to think ab
But to go onto the Steam review page and give it a down vote? Sorry, I think that's an incredible dick move. I don't care what your justification is, if you've played a game 50+ hours you got your money's worth. It would be like me watching a movie 5 times and then going onto IMDB and giving it a 1. There are over 200 items tied to my main STEAM account (which is only one of a few accounts within the household/family). Yes, I have been proudly supporting STEAM for many many years, long before most of these forums still thought STEAM was the devil. Again.........all I can say is if you like your 'apple-experience' now......image what it might have been before 'Mr. Apple' died. Well after lurking for 3 pages I figure I'll pass along my experience. I have extensively used both MS and Apple products for many years now (own and use both daily). I can say the following with regard to the HOME USER computing experience with both/either. Up until about a year or so ago I always (for home consumer use only) recommended Mac OS due to it just doing (out of the box) most if not everything the average joe
Hey now.......Cortana is awesome........she runs my life! [e digicons]O:)[/e] EDIT: With regard to the topic.......I have a minor observation... All tech eventually leads to a crossroads. isn't 'testing' AV software sort of akin to 'testing' insurance policies? In that one won't really know how 'good/bad' it is until needed? unfortunately, since all first-world nations have/do engage in state-sponsored cyber 'warfare/terrorism' it was really only a matter of time until others joined in. Welcome to the new age of warfare. Perhaps the next call of duty game will be called "Call of Duty: Cyberwarfare" ....lol
