I paid for a copy of Fences pro a ways back and now need to reinstall it because of a computer reinstall but stupid impulse is telling me it is "expired" and no longer lets me download and install. I have configured all folders to to to a "Folders" fence and then created a rule I placed above the folders rule that says any folder with a specific name should stay in a "quick links" fence. Every time I run the organize now it moves the folder with the name I excluded to the folders fence as well. This is the "special" my documents folder with my name. Is there a way to fix this?

Ok more news.. i decided to try without doing "run as administrator" and it seems to work fine except the launcher complains and says it must be run as admin. This doesn't seems like a "good" fix i'd rather have it working right but at least I can halfway use it.. my 2nd machine still gets stuck with the mouse on its screen if I run it (eq2) in full screen mode.

I am using multiplicity pro 1.21 and it worked the first time i used it (sort of..) but now that I have rebooted the 2ndary pc (xp) I can no longer move between computers while everquest 2 is up. If I window it and bring up another application like firefox as the focused process it switches fine. I also had problems from the begining where the 2ndary pc would grab the mouse and not release it unless i ran eq2 windowed but at least it ran with it having focus.. Removed multiplicity from both machines, reinstalled both and now it works fine. BTW it works with the main PC on the bottom of the grid just fine. Thats how it was set after I reinstalled so obviously not everything gets removed but whatever the problem was did.

Yeah I tried it that way to start and it failed the same exact way so then i moved it to the bottom. Your mlksama-jr would be the only other machine I have and its above the one labeled primary. Still failing middle or bottom of grid doesn't matter. Even tried the top since if i check the stacked vertical its backwards...

I could if there was a way to attach images... I have the primary on the very bottom row in the exact middle of the grid and the 2ndary machine positioned right above it. There are no options checked other than use advanced grid mode in the screen before it. In that screen that primary does show itself to the left of the 2ndary but you have no options in that screen other than being on the left or right. I also can't move them around since advanced grid is checked.

I have a simple setup at the moment which is 1 monitor ontop of another and i can't get mutliplicity pro to work right.. i upgrade from standard specifically for the up/down switching and it is still working left to right when i setup the grid... when i go into advanced and check the stacked vertical checkbox it sort of works except it treats my primary as if its on top not the bottom!! Can someone explain this feature better? I currently have 2 systems plugged into a 24" monitor via dvi and vga but right now I just use one in a pip display.. what do this feature do exactly?

I have alot of "flakyness" with vista as my primary and xp as 2ndary. I frequently have to logoff and log back into my vista machine to make my 2ndary work. Plus annoying things like hitting cntrl alt delete siezes the control onto the primary where it doesn't with 2 xp machines. Also multiplicity just doesnt seem to work at all if the vista account is not logged in (doesn't run as a real service now?)

I was told in another post that 1.2 has the ability to filter keys so i updated my machines to 1.2 but see nothing new. What am I missing? It does say I am running 1.2 now.. oh and my vista machine says there are currently no connected secondary machines on the advanced tab yet I can control my 2ndary xp machine just fine.....

Ok I might know why.. this folder is in my my documents folder which on a mapped drive and is made available offline I am guessing I can't change folders like this Oddly enough I can change the icons for all the normal files just not the folders.. weird.

I did all of this except the part where it says "at the bottom is Folder icons click it a new window will pop up" I had to click the choose picture button when I do it puts a picture on the yellow folder icon which is not what I want and this view only shows in tile or thumbnail view also not as mini icon in list or detail view. This method is just using the plain windows interface not icon packager. Am I missing something?

I own Object Desktop so I have the paid version but I seem to be a bit dense I cannot even figure out how to get my folder to show up in icon packager to change the folder is sitting in my my documents folder. All the "standard icons" show up fine though.

I happen to like how vista does some of the new folders and want to duplicate some of the new documents folders such as my downloads and even a few custom additions on an XP box and would like to be able to customize these icons. Does iconpackager support this? So far all I can seem to find is system defined icons.. The customize icon from the right click of the folder sucks, all it does is put a picure on the folder..

Why would only the primary PC controller do it then? The 2ndary pc behaves exactly as it should it only ever effects the 2ndary PC. Also where can I get the beta to try? Having a weird problem, I have been using a nostromo N52 gamepad from belkin for some time on my 2ndary pc (xp pro) which has worked great for 2 boxing several MMO's I play. I generally use the KB for the primary and the nostromo for the 2ndary char. Well I decided I wanted to use 2 nostromo game pads plus the mouse to play my latest game as it would make things much easier.
