Taskmanager not updating while it is being dragged with a per pixel skin is by design. It is not a bug. I am unsure exactly why someone would be dragging the window for so long that they need it to update or even notice that it is not. OK, here's the skinny. Downloaded and installed AMD Power Monitor. Without reinstalling WB5 I did some system testing and it's reporting 800MHz as it should whenever nothing is going on. Generally speaking the core also stays at 0% when you're not doing anything. Properties of My Computer also displays 800MHz when nothing is going on. Now, reloaded WB5 via SDC. However, with WB5 unloaded I can do Properties on My Computer and it shows the proper droped-down speed as it should. What does that multimedia timer do for WB5? Just wondering... Yes, latest ATI Mobility 6.2 driverset. Latest BIOS and all other drivers... I'm anal about things like that. I update stuff every month. This problem has been there since the very beginning. I cannot vouch for what the AMD utility will show because I haven't tested it with that. If you could, please check the speed by using Properties on My Computer (do the test again obviously, unload WB, check the speed, should be lowest, load up wb/skin and check the speed again

Here's a weird one. Haven't had time to test it with other skins, but when I have Per Pixle enabled in WindowBlinds and use GT3 OS as a sking I don't get sounds on minimize and maximize of windows. I however would think that SD would go through this forum and seriously consider the bug reports we list here as the #1 things to look at fixing in progressive beta releases or final builds.
