Let's face it .... Star Wars fans are always celebrating alone at home....;)
The option to install another product is provided when updating one but it is a simple process to forego if not wanted...;)
That will be what is known as a 'false positive'. Some AV grograms are less than ideal and fail to distinguish between legitimate software and those that need to be avoided...;)
As always when editing the registry...make a backup first...;)
Happy to see IR and 2of3. God this is great news.
Now they turn up....when we're limited to gatherings of 10 ....;)
I have no idea what that means. By 'numbers' do you mean serial numbers?
No, build number of the Win version. Particularly with 10, the changes in each build can affect things negatively. Eg, this computer is running Version 6.1 [build 7601 - service pack 1 of Win 7 Ultimate 64bit...;)
Not true. For Stardock, winter isn't over until 11:19 pm EDT on Thursday, March 19.
Or for me....11.59pm, August 31 AEST ...;)
GSS90000 , I've checked the other thread which AzDude 'nuked' [hid from public access] and concur he did the right thing to hide it. The 'nuke' message is common online when similar situations occur, not just with Stardock's sites, and is simply generic to cover the most common reasons, eg double posts. Your situation was a privacy issue with personal details which is somewhat less common [thankfully for all]...;)
It's a great app...one many of us had and probably forgot all about,
Like me....have used a much older ver in the past...shall investigate the newby...;)
No, the licence keys do NOT expire. They will be valid for the program for which they were purchased for the life of the person and/or program. A Windows XP Licence key is valid for ever, likewise. But it is not valid for Windows 7.... the later version of the OS. For 7 you need a new key, however that does not stop you using XP and its key. The very same applies to Stardock's programs. Example....Fences 2 is not Fences 3, just as X
One too many threads...let's contain it to the other one...;)
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older....
My hair's a number 3 cut......gonna be a serious wind before you hear it....I never do...and I'm fairly close to most of it....;)
Yes, looks like Win ver is a legitimate question. I'd been noticing oddities in some of my recent 10 installs ....and put it down to the simple pain associated with the current ms ineptitude....could even be as absurd as a home and a pro downloaded and installed on the same day being entirely different build numbers....;)
Currently on a chair at the blood bank...donating 879mls of plasma ....;)
You almost got it.... Ballaarat ....JAFOCHECK
Nope, it wasn't that.... besides it was wrapped in bubblewrap then encased in polystyrene foam.... should have been humidity proofed.
I have a feeling you don't understand the dynamics of weather change. If you hermetically sealed the machine in one place...and transported it to another....that's when you'll really have issues. And leaving it unsealed is only a bit better....you'd have to wait till any con
try my luck with an old desktop that still has a wonky 10 on it....probably from the days when MS actually admitted it was a beta..... Maybe I can get that updated too....
"This might take a while" The epitome of "The Understatement". Updating from an early [alpha] 10 Pro 64 to a recent release [safe-haha] build 10 Pro 64....and...."this might take a while". OK, so it's an experiment....a
That's disappointing. I won't support the concept of software "rental" except in the case of antivirus.
It's not 'rental'. As with most products available to purchase online...you purchase them....then you download them, and install with the provided/purchased key. Process is complete. If you wish to reformat and/or reinstall at a later date you will have needed to put that download
Is it legal?
Probably not. I shall forward to Legal...;)
It went off perfectly and I have now been using most of the programs with absolutely no problems for almost a year, in fact I'm so impressed I now recommend to anyone willing to listen. My apologies to the developers, great product.
That's what we like to hear....glad it's worked correctly for you...;)
Well....looks like Uncle's machine might be sorted...found the conflicting device....killed it and the LAN fired up... ....needless to say, I then lost all the USBs .... .....but now I can surf the porn...er....net...;)
