One more thing I noticed in my daily use of Start11. Even though the taskbar is auto hidden and out of view, clicking where the taskbar would appear, triggers the icon at that location. At work, I have a small monitor and stretch my windows almost from bottom to top. My taskbar is at the top and auto hidden. When I try to drag a window, I always trigger an icon on the toolbar, even though the toolbar is hidden. Same thing happens at home, where I have a much larger screen

With Start 11 v2.5 if I move my task bar to the top or to the sides, the weather widget that also shows the new. panel does not show any more.
I use Start 11 to move the taskbar to the top of the screen. Since doing so, the taskbar no longer auto hides. Interestingly, when I dock the taskbar at the bottom again, it auto hides perfectly. Any idea what is going on with that?
Thank you for the suggestion, LightStar. It worked. Firefox 34, still looks a bit off, but it is much better than before.
I uninstalled WindowBlinds, rebooted and reinstalled. Still had some issues, so I did another uninstall and reinstalled this morning again. I can see that the Directory Opus issue is resolved, but my Firefox 34, is still without a title bar. Even the dialogs, like options, comes up without a title bar.
Hope this helps Stardock: With 8.09 installed, Directory Opus will not launch any more and going back to 8.06 did not help that. When I unload WB and then launch Directory Opus, it launches fine. Then I can launch WB and until I reboot my machine, Directory Opus keeps launching fine. So WB is preventing some subsistems of DO from launching, but once lanched, WB does not bother DO any more.
On a slightly messed up note: I uninstalled 8.09 and rebooted and re-installed 8.06, but some components of 8.09 did not completely uninstall. So now 8.06 identifies itself as 8.09 and Direcory Opus works again. Firefox seems to be working also. Titlebars and all are working fine. So far. Funny, but I thank the lord for these favors. Thank you very much for the reply. It worked and took a frustration off my nerves.
I have an updated Lion skin and when I open windows explorer, the treeview is black. I need to move my cursor over the black area to see the folders and items in the tree view. Where can I go in SkinStudio to fix this problem? Editing the Tree view and explorer sections did not help.
I am still on WinXP. Is WinFX 5 going to have window shadows like older version did? I always used the Mac style window shadows in older WinFX versions.
Is WinFX 5 going to give us windows shadows? This is the feature I used most with WinFX (I am still on WinXP).
I have not seen the feature to import sections from other skins for quite a while. SkinStudio has always had this in the past. I used to be able to import a progress bar with its coding from a different skin. Will the ability to import colors, sections and images from other installed skins be added to SkinStudio in the future?

Thank you for the information, it will help me a lot.
I do not see a statement in the registry or in my startup group to load windowblinds, nor do I see it in the services list. Can someone tell me where windowsblinds 7 gets loaded when WinXP SP3 starts?
After applying the new WB7 UI, I no longer see a way to select toolbars and windows animations from other installed themes. Is there a way to do this now or do I have to wait for another beta?
Using skins that have a dark hover color for tabs, like Ares & Stealth OS, hovering over the tabs on the sides and bottom of Visual Studio 2008, when using auto hidden panels, the text of the tabs remain black, and so become unreadable. Tabs in other programs behave fine, they get white text in hover, while the tab background becomes dark transparent blue. Using SQL Profiler, text on the grid while database activity is shown on a grid, get a dark blue background with black text, instead o
SkinStudio 5 had a feature that allowed us to import sections from other skins into another. Al long time has passed since SkinStudio 6 was released in beta form and still there is no import feature. Will importing be added to SkinStudio 6 anytime soon?
Will WindowBlinds 6 allow us to put the scroll bar arrows together at one edge like Mac OS X allows? I have been waiting for this feature forever.
I noticed that if I use Alt-tab (and WinFx is servicing that key combo) while I am debugging a web application using Visual Studio 2005, WinXP SP2 freezes on the darkened screen used by WinFx during task switching.
I was wondering if WindowBlinds now allows us to have both scroll bar arrows together at one end of the scroll bar like Mac OS X, or if there is a way to accomplish this.
The problem is that I am using Win2K SP4 and I do not seem to be able to find a UxTheme.dll for win2K. WHen I looked at the information about OD 1.60, the article said that it ran on win2k, so what's up with the UxTheme.dll issue? Can I get it for win2k from somewhere?
I installed OD 1.59[b].010 and also the previous 1.58[b].???. Both error out when launched, complaining about: ObjectDock.exe - Unale to Locate DLL The dynamic link library UxTheme.dll could not be found in the specified path C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock;;C:\WINNT\System32;... I searched my hard drive for the dll and it was not found. What do I do? If I uninstall the beta and reinstall 1.50, OD works fine.
I looked everywhere and even imported Taskbar, Windows XP Shell Style and Windows XP Desktop from a skin I know shows TaskBar button text in a readable color and my TaskBar button text is still white after the import. Anyone knows what could be causing this? I configured my Taskbar buttons to have a black color, everywhere I could find a relevant attribute, but I still see white text. Using Win2K SP4 and WB 4.60.048 (latest v4 release).
