Hello, with the introduction of Win8 the support team is dealing with a higher volume of tickets than is usual. We are helping hundreds of people a day and will continue to do so. We're sorry about the delay and will try to get to everyone's ticket as soon as we can. This issue has been sent to the development team though . . so it's out of support's hands. I still encourage people to submit a ticket if they have the issue as more
You should be set now. sorry about the trouble.
Previous announcements were for the beta; this is full release!
We found a bug with the free version of sks. It's in QA now and should be rekeased soon.
wmcivor: did you have another account that you have been using since the OS/2 days? this one only has recent purchases. You might want to contact support to merge them . . .or not.
If it happens again, please email support@stardock.com so we can get some log data.
You can access the update by logging in with your Stardock account at https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products or installing through Stardock Central (currently in beta but available at https://www.stardock.com/products/stardockcentral/ ). The update is rolled into the full version, so just install that over the version you have.
Hmm. So not a Fences issue at all. I'm not surprised.
I wonder if he even runs on Windows XP?
We have tested on XP and are unable to reproduce your issue. We are still looking though.
Typically that error is due to security software doing bad things. try running without or with a different one.
The upgrade should preserve your previous fences.
Responded.
