You should probably contact the support team as WB should work well with Win7 https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit
Can the Language switched to British English ?
We do not have the mapping in place for that now. (What word(s) in Fences are different/would need changing?)

Traditional Chinese is not available at this time and Fences is designed to use whatever your system language is set to but you can override it by adding "en" to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Fences "UserLang"

I set up a hot key to open KVM mode You can also set up commands to open a specific remote PC (ex. "C:\Program Files (x86)\EdgeRunner\Multiplicity\mprdp.exe" [COMPUTER NAME] )

Then, after installing WB 10.6, (fresh install, no former WB version) I immed. get a black screen. Tried to restart. Same thing. After appr 10 seconds, windows returns autom. to the login screen. If I login again, immed. black screen again. So, am in a loop. Had to de-install WB in win

You can hold Ctrl while launching or, better yet, in WB settings set it to exclude skinning the application

Are you pointing to a networked directory or are the portal fences pointing to a directory local to your PC? Fences should be updating as things change.
Hello; Is there a way to backup the settings, please? I'm looking for a way to quickly change between two (or more) different settings.
All the Start10 settings are stored in the registry. Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8 It wouldn't be hard to export configurations you like and import them as desired
If you add some OutputDebug messages (with reasonable text) to your Fences (optional on/off) and using the DebugView, this would help to trigger out where the thinking/delay happens (have to set on DebugView the timing display).
I'm not the dev and I don't recall what you'll see, but there should be some output with debug view. You'll need to set a key in the registry. <a href="http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/a

Icons in fences will always align to a grid; you cannot put them anywhere in a fence area. You can, of course, re-arrange icons within the grid.
