Thank you all for your comments. Glad to see I gave you the skinning bug Uvah. I see your still making Rainlendars. Its nice to expand your interests. Hi there Sydney, glad I'm not the only half-male half-female. Its been so long since I made any Rainies or Widgets I'm not sure I remember how. I kinda lost interest in skinning when I heard they were not going to offer the " Rightclick " program and that would mean the RightClick gallery will be gone. Most of my inspiration alw
One issue about the Personal Pages is that they really aren't used much. I tried years ago to show people how valuable they could be at marketing both themselves and the site, but in all honesty it was met with a big "meh".
When the WC Personal page was first introduced you had to activate it yourself and set it up....I think that was a problem for some members, I'm not sure if that has changed since then. Does a new member automatically have a WC personal site ?&nbs
Thanks Sviz and Xiandi - at least now I know to stop looking. WC Personal sites have never been top priority...the majority of the members of the site are male. I'd at least like to be the correct gender...
Personally I'm hanging out for some more fundamental improvements to the Admin/file interface, but I too would look forward to features/functionality added to the Personal Pages...
Hi Jafo, long time no see. I don't
Hi all I haven't been around much so I'm kind of lost with all the changes with the new site format. I'm trying to update some info on my old WC Personal site. When I go to the " account " tab I find the area to update your personal information, but seems some of the items that I could access on the old WC site are missing. There use to be a space to type in and "name" your WC personal site and now I can't find any place to change that...also at the botto
So true. I for my part won't renew ObjektDesktop next April for the first time since 2001 if RightClick does not (in one form or another) re-surface. It was (in my opinion) the most useful and work-enhancing program that Stardock ever made
When I changed computers last year I wasn't going to bother installing object desktop again. But I couldn't navigate without my Rightclick program. I'm sure Stardock could of fixed this application, but it was never really advertised
Or, here is my latest wallpaper. Usually accompanied by the text "I created this" or "I was bored"
Yeah, but MY mushrooms have a green tint...
I always enjoyed a good Rainybow..
Rest peacefully Ed. You were a gentleman.

Hi Dave, I'm Karen, Fairyy~ and to some " The Evil Squiggle " :)
Normally I wouldn't stop to read a post like this but it was well done and interesting.
What a nice surprise. I too knew exactly who made this skin the second I applied it. I can finally change my desktop from " Stealth " :) Thank you...

The widgets that are used on the RC menus react the same way as any widget....if you hit the F10 key it will show all widgets , hit again and it hides all...including the RC widget. Just right clicking on your desktop will bring the widget back on the RC skin....as far as I know there is no way of making the RC widget act indepenently of the other widgets. I have tried to right click on one widgets properties and chose ' none' as the hot key but it changes all widgets to have no hot key.<br /
All previous weather widgets no longer function due to a change in coding from the weather site. This was discussed in previous threads. Look for threads from Sviz and Island Dog. There are a few new weather widgets in widget gallery that are new and function correctly using a new Weather site.
Yeah, I make wallpapers. Notice my WC Gallery has like 2 walls in it. At least I know my limitations....the difference is my recycle bin never sees them. I have a folder full of useless walls, bits, buttons and things I'm gonna use one day.
Have a great day Noah !!
Congratulations sviz on your promotion...you have always been an outstanding member and skinner.
This is what I always called a RC brain fart. I have no idea why this happens. Its not often but I too have had a few wierd episodes similar to this since RC was first introduced. I can't say Ive had all the menus do this at one time...but I have had 1 or 2 of them behave this way. The only solution I have found was to open up my RC menu editor and totally delete the offending menus and redo them. Sorry I can't help with a quick fix but I have never found a cure for this...thank God it
Best Wishes for a speedy recovery :)
I just had one last thing to say on this. I don't think there is one skinner here that doesn't comprehend the problem is with Weather.com changing their script. Which they have a right to do. I have read every post and every thread. I see most of the Skinners only agreeing about where the problem lies. Sure its not Wincustomize/Stardocks problem....but this is where the fine line has been drawn. The Skinners are asking Wincustomize/Stardock to help find a solution. Telling e
Well, whilst I agree with this to a point I can't say I agree wholehearted. I probably created one of the (if not the) earliest weather scripts using weather.com. At that time it was clear from the content of the feed returned that there were potential licencing issues. I made this crystal clear to some very senior members of Stardock staff who made it clear that they didn't think it was much of an issue. As weather.com based objects proliferated, I repeated this concern and still no a
