How can I get rid of this now redundant search box? Also, how can I set the width of the open program buttons on the task bar? Thanks
Sorry to bother you again, but if anyone else has this issue, I think this is the answer: Un-select option in red rectangle...
Windows Version 1809 (OS Build 17763.557) Groupy Version 1.25 And you are right, it is pretty straight forward- I had the group shown above before your first reply... sorry
I think I am figuring it out, however, the tab text is a partial path to the location. Since these items reside in the same directory structure, the tab text is the same for all. For instance, can I configure the active tab to have the tab text "DCSS Files" instead of "C:\Users\Administrator..."? Otherwise, the
I installed Groupy, but nothing happened. I tried to use the Groupy application to no avail. Is there a users guide somewhere?
Hi Basj Reboot fixed it... Thanks John
Yes, it is Windowblinds, but when I excluded Chrome, it looked OK, but the positioning of the same buttons was off- the "X" for close looked to be in the right position (no skin), but I had to click to the extreme right of the X to close, likewise the minimize and minimize buttons were placed incorrectly. The positioning matched the position that they would be if the Windowblinds skin was applied...
Is this a bug? Google Chrome when started: Chrome after "waking" PC after an hour or so not using it: As you can see, the minimize, m
I will be getting a replacement PC for the one I am using now (dual core- too slow). Is there a process for transferring Stardock products from old PC to the new PC?
Hi Basj Thanks for the help. I am now experimenting with developing my own skins. One minor issue: some applications (Mozilla Thunderbird for instance) won't accept the skin. Any way to work around this issue? Thanks...
I don't see that application. Below is what I have: How do I get the application you are displaying?
I have followed your instructions and selected win8 style. Windows 10 start menu remains, and the taskbar is Windows 10 with the open windows underlined and non-3D as well. Are there additional settings I need to apply to get the Window 7 style start menu and taskbar?
Start 10 is installed, but I will follow previous advice to uninstall and then re-install to fix problem...
I removed Classic Shell and Winaero. Now the taskbar buttons are fine, but I can't change the color and the text is blurry (see attached). How can I fix this? I chose the Lantana Theme. Also, no matter what theme I use or what setting I change, I cannot replace the Windows 10 start menu with a Windows 7 style start menu. What am I missing? </
Sorry, more info. I also have Classic Shell and Winaero on this PC- Could this be a problem?
1. Start10 2. Windows 10 Version 1809 (OS Build 17763.473) 3. Stardock (WindowBlinds) version 10.8 (055 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 bit OS
I just installed Stardock and try as I might, I can't get rid of the following issues: Taskbar open application buttons are flat and underlined with active window button grey, not the Windows 7 style 3D application buttons shown on one of your screenshots. Start menu has a BLACK BACKGROUND, not the Windows 7 style background shown on your "<span style="background-color: #f6f6f6; color: #2d2d2d;
